MLG Dallas marks the second time a natural disaster might screw around with an MLG event, 5000 flights in the states have been grounded, and that might mean less attendees.
However, I would like to write this to just look at some of the stories coming into the event, as the starcraft community loves it's stories.
1. Lol vs SC2, who's the loudest?
We've heard conflicting stories from the MLG spectators. LoL say we're louder, SC2 says LoL is louder. MLG doesn't do the best job when it comes to putting a mic on the crowd.
2. Taeja
Can he redeem himself? For a player who a month ago was considered the best in the world, he's fallen quite a bit. 3. place at MLG summer championship wasn't something he was too happy about, and going out first this GSL is surely something he's mad as hell about.
3. Leenock
The reigning champion from FXO. He had a very, very easy finals last time around. No starcraft player has had back to back MLG (non arena) wins. Leenock will have a hard time going up against players like Flash, Stephano, Taeja, HerO. The list goes on, but Leenock has surprised people before.
4. CranK
The reddit favorite and only member of the most cynical team in esports, Axiom. Can CranK in the midst of the slayers drama, in which he's given most of the blame by the korean fans, aswell as having a neck injury, improve from his first MLG, where he got the very respectable place of 12-9, beating Taeja twice.
5. Kespa
We've seen the MvP tournament going on in the last month, with the Ax's casting (Axslav and Axltoss). The even, which was dominated from day 1 by Flash, who will be going up against Grubby in round 1 of group stages, which I'm sure MLG will broadcast (right?).

1. Depends on who shows up, but LoL usually has the bigger crowd 2. Taeja is capable of greatness at anytime just depends how he is feeling, but I feel like he is one player people will likely prepare for if they do. 3. I don't think he will surpise anyone. 4.Crank, i don't think will win it i think top 8 for sure 5. Kesap players should do very well but i still think the GOM players will do better.
I feel like there is not a lot of hype for MLG i am not that excited for it. I will tune into SC 2 and I do wanna check out halo 4(not that i will buy it cause i don't got a xbox.)

I don't really understand the hype of LoL. it just doesn't seem as epic/exciting as SC.

Lack of hype is kinda why I wrote this, I feel like MLG needs to step up it's writing team or whatever they have. Axltoss is capable of hyping, why not use him a little more? ;S

i didn't know lol relied on hype, since people watch it because they find the games fun to watch...

LoL will be louder, like usual. I am ok with this though, I am very excited to see the kespa players!
