I think you all can handle some yelling, dramatic impressions, high-fiving, and relatively minor insults. If it was a regular occurrence, then it would be a legitimate problem. And I trust you all get equally sensitive over 2GD's behavior during live premier tournaments. Actually no. Nobody ever blames 2GD for his shit. And God knows he gets overboard a lot. For me, I can't bear 2GD. I disliked him on a very primal level. He is the antechrist to me. However I don't start hating agenda with people I don't know just to make someone else miserable. Destiny is just trying to promote himself, he has a huge interest in shifting his viewerbase towards LoL because he can make more money in LoL than he ever had in SC2.

I've never been so irritated at drama before. It's usually just "haha, this shit is ridiculous", but right now you're the opposite of a "professional". Pffft, whatever. If you're irritated at the drama, stop making it dramatic! Turn off the stream! Go play outside! That's the thing about drama. Most of the time it really isn't anything different than what you get from fourteen year old girls talking about which boy is going to ask them to homecoming.

Destiny is just trying to promote himself, he has a huge interest in shifting his viewerbase towards LoL because he can make more money in LoL than he ever had in SC2. Everything Destiny's brand is built on is what's bad about esports. He's in this weird position where he both wants to be taken semi-seriously with his ideas about balance and Blizzard's involvement, but he also wants to be able to draw cartoon penises and do stupid shit. That's what distinguishes him from the other quote-unquote bad boys of Starcraft, who rage and flame and act like dicks but are serious about the game all the damn time. Destiny lives on drama and creating it. Without attention, he doesn't have the skills to remain relevant. 2GD... I'm not gonna change your opinion. I can definitely understand why you'd dislike the guy. Underneath the dickish facade and the behavior and the being an asshole to everyone, though, he actually seems like a very genuinely good dude, and one's who has a tremendous amount of passion and personal investment in pro gaming.

Dude, you don't seem to follow SC2 at all, why do you keep coming here insisting that SC2 is dying when you don't know shit about it? Back to your reddit cave, troll!

Back to your reddit cave, troll! I think everyone atm can agree that SC2 is at least in the decline atm compared to what we started at. Also with the way the HOTS beta is going I don't think there is much hype going into a new expansion at all. stop fucking quoting the MVP shit..he even said he made a mistake wtf

I dont mind Incontrol but he did come across as very aggressive, when he was talking rationally and not shouting - his opinions were interesting, but he got in rage mode far to much but I feel Destiny did push the conversation into a more volatile one. Idra just seemed completely out of touch which surprised me, it seemed like he really couldnt care less. his 'who cares' 'why bother' attitude sucked. But conversations like this should be applauded its getting to the nitty gritty of the scene, and passion is good people!

LoL/Dota, or mods in general, like Counter-Strike. It's obviously a diferent scenario, but you asked for it... WoW was also probally growing 2 years in, and you could also add games that switch to F2P if you are really want to.

This should raise questions why he bothers to make posts predicting SC2's imminent death. A lot of the guys posting stuff like that are people with low post counts, aka trolls. Don't feed them, don't let them spread non-sense. And no, I don't think that sC and Select quitting are a sign of decline. We are not in a phase of growth, sure, if you're pessimistic you could say it's 'stale' right now, but I bet you that SC2 will still be a competitive esports with a sizable following years from now. All this panic does nothing constructive, so you should question the motives of guys like colossusFTW.
