havn't we been having the same fixed prized pools for awhile now? I know MLGs went up, but I think the rest of the tournaments have always been around the same amount.

sc:bw was never big outside of korea. sc2 today (outside of korea) is bigger than sc:bw has ever been (outside of korea). a corollary point, however, is that sc2 is not big in korea now, which does not bode well. we'll see what happens with the elephant stampede.
