Also, I PM'd this to someone but it might be useful if someone is confused about Code S seeding:
1. The top 8 players (i.e. player who make the quarter finals) from the previous season of Code S get immediately qualified for Code S next season. In 2012 season 5 that means Rain, HerO, Taeja, Mvp, MarineKing, Life, Symbol, and Leenock are all already qualified.
2. Next, the 12 players who win their match in Code A Ro24 qualify for Code S next season. So this means that these guys qualified last week: Vampire, Squirtle, Creator, sOs, Bbyong, Maru, Polt, Bogus, GuMiho, Curious, RorO, Sniper.
3. All of the Code A players who didn't get eliminated in the Ro48 but didn't win in the Ro24 get to compete in the Up&Downs, which is what is happening this week. If you get top 2 in your group, you qualify for Code S. So Hack and HyuN have already qualified, 8 more spots are up for grabs.
4. Lastly, there are some automatic seeds for foreign players who do well in other tournaments. For example, MaNa qualified for Code S by winning at Dreamhack. I don't know who/if anyone will be doing that this season but hopefully. I know Stephano basically has an open invitatin to Code S if he wants it but he says the format doesn't suit him.
Do you know how happy i'd be seeing Bomber and DRG making it to Code S? I might cry. Please don't let it be jinxed by this write-up... Come to think of it, with how fast this years Code S is going to be, Bomber could make a splash this season. He's better playing back to back to back series than he is at planning for one series a week

Hope that clears it up.
Actually, for #4, the seed is not exclusive to foreign players. Koreans that are not in Code S who did well in foreigner events can also get this seed (Polt, Violet).

To be fair, he played risky BOs. It is like if Zerg 6 pooled and gets defended. Yes, you can define it as a 'BO' loss. But it is slightly different from the player was 'unlucky' which we usually associate with the term 'BO lost'.
Man, just a thought but just how crazy is next season's GSL going to be. Not to mention a new influx of Kespa pros to further populate Code A next season.

Problem is there hasn't been a major tournament to seed players from this season, highly unlikely they'll seed Nerchio since DH Bucharest was very low-profile. I'll guess they'll take pity on Nestea and throw him a seed I want to say Stephano also but I'm unsure

MaNa did not get a Code S spot, he got an Up And Down spot and got through his group.
