- have time off work that I need to take
- creamed myself watching Dortmund smack Man City about for 90 minutes, only to get irritated when they conceded a soft late penalty, so the coming together of a) wanting a long weekend in Europe to see a football game for a long time, b) having time off work and c) having money to do so made my decision up to go to the Wolfsburg game in December
- I cannot see when tickets go on sale to the general public. Looking round their website isn't the easiest and going to the money page seems to auto-revert to German, and while my high school level "if I woke up in Germany tomorrow I wouldn't die of starvation" level of the language is OK, I can't decipher enough of it, namely due to not having used it in nearly 15 years. If I can get a ticket at face value money is no object as Bundesliga is cheap, best seats in the house cost less than what I paid to go to Wembley to see my team lose in the playoff final on penalties
- I can get tickets shipped to the UK, yes? Or collect on the day?
- Hotel recommendations? Budget's probably about 50-60 euros a night
- What to see? I like beer so probably will seek out decent places to drink which shouldn't be too hard, but aside from that?
Thanks in advance, any locals that help me out and are doing nothing the weekend of that game can consider the first beer on me
