There has to be a better solution than this.

You only need Tanks that have upgrades for Laser attack, Toxic attack, Napalm etc. and you got the reincarnation of that game.

Making it so that each unit can solve every situation if you can only acquire "the better upgrades", goes contrary to having multiple unit types. Siege Tanks are supposed to suck in certain situations. I would rather Blizzard added a new unit.

In the current meta, siege tanks suck in most situations unless in TvT. They are only effective early game vs P. In v Z, they get slaughtered by bling ling if on creep (which is usually more than half of the map) and suck once BL/ultras are out. They are good vs roaches if you are going mech but again, once BLs come out, they suck. With good infestor control and banelings not in clumps, tanks actually counter very few units.

Blizzard is clueless once again. Can't they see that Terran has no good end game unit or some good spell casters? Remove the god damn nuke, it's the most dumb thing ever design. It's a joke! Force Fields need to get toned down a little. They are spammed like crazy and ruins gameplay dynamics. Put some god damn good units in the game, units that can turn the fate of a battle when used properly. End this BLOB vs BLOB nonsense.

I like everything. The warhound remove, best thing ever.. such a stale unit.. new unit incoming?

The Carrier is in. We brought it back for several reasons. The biggest reason was that it was currently the only unit still removed from the expansion. Back when I had this crazy plan that we would "cut units and add new ones" we cut a bunch of units.
Over time this plan did not work out. Cut units worked there way back into the mix and finally the only unit that was still cut was the Carrier. It seems weird to cut only one unit from one race. So it's back in. And it's staying. We should have put it back before the beta started but we didn't and the community reminded us how important this was.
The Warhound is out. It stepped on the Marauder too much. It is not coming back. We believe the Terrans have great new mech options in many matchups with Widow Mine and Battle Hellion. We are prepared to balance these units until we are proven wrong.
I should also say that an improved mech in TvP was a goal many months ago. This may not be the goal in the future if we find that improved mech in TvP makes the game less diverse or is not fun for some other reason. We reserve the right to abandon this goal at any time if it proves to be destructive to the game.
Does that help? Wisdom. The carrier lives. Long live the carrier. Also matchups are not like bw anymore. In BW you played bio TvZ and mech TvP. Now you play bio TvP and (can play)mech TvZ. Hooray for transparency at last.

Also, I love the way the design of Protoss is going now, though it needs a lot of rebalancing and I don't like the oracle much, the rest I really like. The one thing on my wish list design wise is some sort of change for the Colossus to make it less 1a&pray.

that was pretty funny that every unit made it except the carrier. Protoss was really feeling the hate just a week ago. hah

Protoss is the race that needs a new unit. Preferably from the Twilight Council.

They needed units that make other techs viable, and not relying on Robo for observers. And they got what they needed, perhaps they it needs to be tweaked a little bit more. They also got Mothership core, which is perfect for early defense, or pressuring opponents without going all-in with the Mass Recall. Protoss ground army, doesn't need anything, they have almost perfect ground composition.

i love how they removed the worhound but still changed that the immortal's hardened shield reduces the warhound’s Haywire Missile damage
