I am selling a game account of mine and since said account is tied to an email adress of mine ( admins wont let me change it) which also handles all my other stuff I am a little concerned.
Now this selling of the account also coincides with me changing my email address since the old one is a rather childish sound one ( done when I was about 14). I have carried over all all stored Email from the old account into the new one and am looking of course to delete these messages on the old account. Furthermore I am in the process of changing my email address to the new one on all the sites I can remember off the top of my head ( ebay, TL, paypal, etc.).
In addition there is a 30-day period in which all Email that is adressed to my old email account will be forwarded to the new one.
What will go down in about 2 weeks is that the old email address including password and the game account will go to the new owner.
My question is: Is this safe enough? Are there any other precautions I need to take? Can the new owner of the old email address access anything that was previously tied to that address?
And is there a way to make sure that I have changed the email address on ALL sites that were connected to my old email?
