A foreign fan finding his way to the GSL at the MokDong GOMTV studio and publicly proposing became a hot discussed topic.
On September 4th, 2012, before the 2012 GSL Season 4 Code S Ro32 Group B winners match took place, a foreign fan wearing a GSL t-shirt came up to the front of the crowd and stood in the middle of the stage. Supposed an Israeli, this man called up his girlfriend who came with him to the studio and had her come up to the front of the studio along with him, got down on one knee, and proposed to her.

The fan stated that he wanted to "publicly propose to my girlfriend at the GSL studio, where we always enjoyed watching many GSL games together." The girlfriend accepted the proposal and everyone in the studio became emotional. This was a momentous occasion for the GSL as it proved the fact that the GSL was becoming internationally acclaimed since a foreign fan took the time to come all the way to the studio just to propose to his girlfriend.
