He got paid to play for someone else. He drove to that player's house and played for him from there (so the IP would be the same).

Eywa's handling of this tournament has been awful. Of course people are still suspicious on the legitimacy of this tour.
It's sad actually, because if tournament and prize money is actually legit, it will hurt so much because people are still doubting. With proper advertising, we could've seen so many famous players who already retired from BW, coming back trying their hand at the hefty prize money. Anyone remember Retired_Draco in TSL1? Mondragon? And many more who are not playing SC2 professionally.
Oh well, I'm still gonna keep a close eye on this.
