And by secret strat, I do mean something relatively new. Last one I can think of off the top of my head was Dig's Lulu comp.

The first game I didn't really like the teamcomp of Orb Didn't see picks bans but comps were: Orb: Tristana / Nunu / Skarner / Yorick / Orianna mMe: Graves / Lulu / Maokai / Irelia / Cassiopeia It doesn't feel like Orianna / Yorick / Skarner go well together at all. Yorick doesn't have a good midgame target for his ult to go zombie mode - sure, ulting tristana late is great, where its sorta giving you two carries but in earlier teamfights when tristana is still weak this is when you see Yorick ulting a mage for them to go Karthus-mode. Orianna doesn't have anyone who can dive into the enemy team and get an R on many targets. Sure, skarner likes the MS from W, but Skarner wants to kidnap a solitary target, not so much dive into the middle of 5. Skarner doesn't have a team that will help him "get the grab" except for orianna - he pretty much has to just facetank the enemy team, run in there, and grab someone. + Show Spoiler [game1] + MME wins game 1. It's a Skarner composition with almost no burst. You should know what my opinions of that are. They also have nearly no mid-game. The team very much relies on Orianna providing stall to get to their late game powerhouse in Trist+Trist ghost. Yet at the same time, Skarner has a lower lategame presence than other junglers due to QSS. On the other hand mMe has a strong early, mid and late game power curve. Sure, their late game might be lower than mMe. But by the time the late game kicks in, they can still go toe-to-toe and they should be coming in with an advantage to begin with. oRb just have no real game plan here. It's like a team of " 5nice stuff we can play" rather than "5 champs who are going to murder your face hard and we know how to do it".

Yeah, there were multiple times that Skarner ran in, lost a lot of health, grabs someone like Irelia (no way could he ever get to Graves)... who just facetanks all 5 for the duration of the grab while Skarner dies faster than she does. It didn't work out at all. Game 2 Picks: MME: Sona Ryze Graves Maokai Yorick Orb: Soraka Vayne Orianna Nocturne Malphite I like orb's teamcomp a bit better this time, but Yorick + Ryze gives exactly what I was complaining Yorick + Orianna didn't have. Meanwhile however, Malphite Nocturne gives Orianna the kind of front line she wants - a dive-deep front line (Especially Malphite Ori's RR combo) BTW, since the videos are unlisted youtube videos and the Riot portal has MASSIVE SPOILERS, here are the youtube links to the games between MME Ferus and Orbit Gaming + Show Spoiler [Game 1] + + Show Spoiler [Game 2] + + Show Spoiler [Game 3] + N/A

I'm always super scared for TSM tho because they have their derp moments where Regi feeds super heavily and then Chaox/Dyrus dont end up carrying his ass.. meh guess because of stream revenue they don't really need the riot salary anyways

2. CLG.NA 3. Curse.NA Although I hope for some upsets, maybe Legion can take the third place?

As for Deman, he's out of vacation days. He'd like to be at PAX but shoutcasting for him is still just a hobby.

If it were differently organized, I'd put TD or Legion as making top 3, but with things like this, I really can't say. Predictions: TSM Dignitas Legion (gotta go with an upset happening somewhere, and CLGNA has looked pretty shaky lately.) Curse.NA

I'd say Evo is the only team without a decent chance at winning the whole thing. I agree with you, but I also think Legion have a chance to get a spot.

I hardly ever see or hear anything good being said about their casting (cough, nunu counterjungling, cough) Those four work for Riot. This is their first independently run event so they're trying to use their own people. Everyone else is independent or works for a different company(Joe for ESL, Hatperson for IGN, etc).
