There are a lot of stuff happening off camera so what we saw may not be the whole story. Not that it justifies Regi's behaviour, but his words are "Two wrongs don't make a right, but it makes us happy."
Xpecial talks about the line between confidence and arrogance.
I don't get why anyone cares about his trash talking. Regi trash talk makes his fans love TSM more and it makes people who dislike TSM want to see them lose even more. Every sport or competitive game has villains and I think Regi is pretty good at making people mad while also making his fans go up in arms to defend him and his team.
It's actually one thing that's nice to see with eSports as opposed to stuff like football or basketball where everyone's got an agent and a media manager molding the message that the players/teams give to reporters. These are real, personal, human reactions from these players. Dig was frustrated and disappointed with their loss, so Scarra said something that protected their egos. TSM found this to be very insulting and disrespectful of the hours and hours of dedicated hard work they'd put in to this tournament, so they responded in kind. We'd all like to think we're more mature than that, but I know that I for one sometimes have trouble not rising to people's bait. It's a byproduct of pride, I suppose.
The best part is, it's really clear that there's now a beef between these two teams. TSM feels disrespected by Dig at every turn. Dig feels like TSM kicked them (with words!) when they were down.
The right response (and the best one for professional LoL!) is for both teams to practice as hard as they can to destroy the other in the Grand Finals next month. I really can't wait. ^_^
regi talks about bming after the games, then proceeds to BM clg saying they are worse after korea LOL.
Regi outplayed them everytime? His ryze got carried so hard who did he outplay actually?
I do agree Scara saying they didnt do anything is pretty bad and offensive. He should have sayed they played their normal game and we didnt prepare for it. The message is the same and it isnt offensive.
If what TSM said about Dig telling them they didn't prepare is true, then I could definitely believe TSM's side of the story based on Dig's history. Esspecially based on the MLG incident.
Honestly all the teams have great room for growth and none of them are neither robots or perfect, but that's okay. You wouldn't want to watch people with no personality and not everyone will like all the pros. That's just life.

I am pretty sure Dig prepared.... they prepared to lose to CLG then win against Curse.
Regi talking about the huksyndrome. Its funny that other teams seem to do it too. "Yeah... they are shit, would not win but the other team was playing bad"
Can anyone direct me to a vod of the post-game interviews so I can watch them myself? I turned off the stream after TSM won and apparently missed out on some massive drama.

Sorry if this has been linked already, it contains most of the drama/highlights of the match

Part sponsors and part because for some people they really do help.

I dont think TSM really need gunnars to play and wouldnt play without them. Must be part of their contract

I don't know what people want to say or think but the finals were pretty one sided, I don't know why it's so wrong for Regi to say it was ez when it looked ez.
and herein lies the problem for professional LOL moving foreward, when MLG realized that no Koreans = no relevance with sc2, they added 3 Korean invites per tournament, thats less than ONE team in league. It would cost so much to fly in 3 full teams for an event I just don't think it will ever happen. I think you guys know how I feel about lol enough for me to not get flamed for saying this but, by Saturday the international had moved from my 2nd screen to my main screen and got all sound privileges because it was obvious that a tournament with no Korean or European invites was just going to be an irrelevant TSM walkover.

You expect korean/european on the NA regionals? ok
