I wasn't even here for the SC2 beta, and all these goodbye posts are still making me sad. That picture right there is definitely worth a thousand and one words. End of a game, end of a passion, end of an era. This game means so much to so many people, but unfortunately, sometimes the good times just can't keep rolling. Then again, maybe they will. Ironically, despite my line about the good times not rolling, BW has gone full circle with the amateur leagues popping up that are sustained almost solely by the passion of the people who love this game. Maybe, someday in the future, some people will get tired of playing Call of Duty 9, and run across this cool, challenging game called BW. Maybe everything will start again. Maybe there will always be these amateur leagues. Maybe there will always be those few people who love a game, and love to play that game with and against friends. Maybe there will always be someone who wants to be the best at something. Maybe BW will never die, because there will always be people who love it and the competition and friendship it fosters between people. Or maybe it will. What do I know? I'm just a new guy around here.  | ||
