I dont like the icons anyway and with all the gold and decoys they look worse as higher you come. So Nr.1 gets black and white icon. The only one who dont need all this fancy stuff to show how good he is

I'm confused, how does my MMR go down after I win a match... won 5 in a row and my graph is up and down and up and down...Doesn't really have sense..

De .zip on the website with the latest version had the "Unexpected end of archive" error

oO. overwrite the wrong file and now i don't find my backup! i will publish the unstable today as stable today. 800 games should be stable enough and there are some big improvidences.

This tool doesn't show your exact MMR! it shows the best estimate we have at the moment. But we get closer every day.
1)
The f function to calculate the mmr backwards from the elo system blizzard use have a margin. Depending on the changepoints. I filter result with more than +- 30 error. Check out the f function here in the op. http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=332391
2) Depending on your server we have to: Analyse the tier offsets. We use very different ways to find out the offsets of the tiers of each server. If you want to find out how: check out the same thread: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=332391 Not-that publish his tables and research near daily.
3) depending on your league we have to find out in what tier the opponent is. I do this witch different algorithm. Check out an easy overview how i do it here: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=334561¤tpage=30#595
-- All this is not perfect. But we get better results every day. If you jump and drop not more than 50 points than we reached our goal. We can never tell you your exact number but we can give you a good indicator where you are.
Just to compare: if you are top e.g. 8 diamond on eu server, your mmr can be between low plat and grandmaster. If you are e.g. low platinum in points this gives near 0 information about your skill. You can be the close to the worst or the best player on the hole battelnet and be ranked low platinum at the moment. The accuracy of the ladder system is fake. With the point system you feel like you are at a specific point an slowly move up and down from there. In real this alone say nothing about your skill. Thats how accurate the ladder tab in sc2 is and the base from where we have to start.
BTW here is an example of my newest analyser of a master player ( best example only 1 tier)
Without guessing tier offsets:

Hey just wanted to report something weird. When I uncheck "Average 5" the graph looks like this:
Edit: When I check Breaks it's gone.

If you uncheck dots and breaks, it only show the lines between gamerows. Depending on the algorithm and his filter, this can be few data.

I'm using 3.3.6 unstable and they were disabled by default.

It's just because I don't have many consecutive data and I think only then there will be lines. (because when I activate the dots there are some single plots between the lines with out lines plotted between them)
I've activated the Ram Scanner now hoping to get more data then.

Ah, uninstalling Java 7 64-bit fixed the RamScanner problems

yep. known bug. Ramscanner dont work together with JVM 64. Deisntall your 64 bit java and use the 32 bit version or disable the ramscanner for now

I"m not sure the delete all games, and delete log buttons actually work. It didn't for me at least. I like the new look and feel, and also like the explinations. You've put a lot of work into this, you are the man, man!
How did we go from Alg A, to Alg B, to Alg D? what happened to Alg C? Is that like bad luck liek 13 lol.
I US SC2 down for anyone else? I can't login, so I can't ladder

Look ma, I'm famous!
I have a question. According to the help algorithm A&D should give less but more accurate results than A&B. However for me the graphs look like this:
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/32496746/AlgoAB.png https://dl.dropbox.com/u/32496746/AlgoAD.png
I'm bronze getting silver opponents, so I should be very close to the promotion threshold, which suggests that AlgoAB is actually much more accurate.
Another question: are there some instructions what exactly is required for the ramscanner to work? It looks like the steps to take are now scattered all over this thread.

confirmed delete bug on data. Log delete looks fine. The file is still there because he write into it directly after. I will fix it. For now just delete the data files.
C was a step from b to d that could not keep up with d at all and get deleted. poor guy. was 2 pages code ;(

Tells me that the offsets for bronze silver are still wrong. They are the hardest to get. i will use your data to improve the algorithem. so big jumps should never happen. really have to look into them Also i think notthat have new offsets for eu. will update them over the db update as soon as he is online.
Ramscanner need 32 bit java. So you have to de install your 64 java and keep your 32 version. I check the java version and give out error an message in next patch.

The DNS records for US-Battle.net were down, but they're back up now.

found some big mistakes in data from version 3.0 we can not trust this data anymore. I will rewrite the data save system anyways so i will ask you next patch if you want to transform the data or make a clean start and delete all old games.
