But by now it shouldn't really be a surprise.

There are just no results from NA players anymore. Europe has still a huge pool of strong players who can beat GSL calibre players on a good day. NA needs to step it up! I don't think it's going to happen until HoTS. People are all playing D3 in NA these days.

Kinda makes me a little sad, but obviously it's justified. Pool C has all 4 players closest in ability level, but Pool D has three absolute terrors (and Socke). So if Group of Death = closest games/ hardest to predict, then C. If GoD = highest level of play, then D.

Then you didn´t have seen enough games from him. One of Sockes greatest strengths are the plethora of builds he can execute, which gives him a good versatility and make him hard to predict. He is for example definitely capable of playing macro games. I would say that in a played out Bo3 at least one of his matches is normally macro orientated. He does have a lot of timing attacks in his repertoire. The most of them are not real All-Ins, though, because they have mostly a transition out of it.

I'm not sure why people think "he relies on all-ins" = "he's bad." Socke is obviously good enough to take games off of good players. I have yet to see him prove himself in a macro game against a top tier S-class Korean. Hopefully he does well at MLG.

All he said is you haven't seen enough of Socke if what you believe he relies on all-ins a lot. And I agree with him.
