Could you help me decide? This will be my first time buying a MLG pass for seeing the streams, and for me the system is pretty confused, I will like to buy a pass that allow me to see all the year? Is that possible? Could someone explain to me the pass system TY

Firstly because so many Europeans, especially from the East work their ass off but still will never catch up to the Koreans because of the way things are. Secondly because its stupid to encourage people to give up EVERYTHING for one goal only because a bunch of Koreans do so because of their totally fucked up work ethic. Koreans have developed the best strategys, are always up to date on new stuff to adapt to and counter foreigners, they share these strats with each other, they arent self centered and egomaniacs like Naniwa or probably Stephano. SC2 community in Korea is much more familiar and openminded. Pros have dozens of practice partners around their level. They can practice with top players, even outside from their team mates, something which isnt gonna happen in Foreign scene, unless you are one of their buddys. Not even half of the Koreans play 16 hours a day, lol, they would probably do it only 1 week ahead from the event to prepare for their groups.

I er...Guess you've missed a lot of the interviews, house tours documentaries and other content that illustrates just how hard koreans do train? CSN has great house videos and interviews where you can get a clear idea that most of them in fact do train 8-12 hours per day. IdrA is also very very open with how much he practices, when he's doing a lot or a little and one of the more recent interviews (real talk with JP) he talks about the slayers practice schedule. Call me insane, but I think when the startale, slayers, and TSL house all have schedules that they follow for practice that they do in fact practice what they say they do ![]()

Nothing more, and nothing less. If a foreigner player doesn't want to practice that much because he feels it's abnormal, that's his choice, but unless he's some sort of genius who can compete at Code S level despite lack of practice, I won't watch him.

I agree with Shiori here. The best, most hard-working players are the ones that deserve to be seeded and win events. Foreigners just don't seem to put in the hours that Koreans do, and it's up to them to close the widening skill gap. It's not really about race either, it's about the hours put in that makes someone great at anything (including SC2).
