Pretty embarrassing start to this season. I will still cheer for TL but I think we all need to lower our expectations. Why does his age matter? That means he has less experience with RTS games in general than most other progamers. Most of TL is in their twenties, meaning even if they've been playing SC2 for just as long as this kid has, they've probably been playing games in general for another 7 or 8. Are you saying that this is a bad thing? for TL it is... obviously. In terms of Life, it's fucking fantastic. that's the dumbest shit i've ever heard. so getting all killed by Leenock, Maru, or creator, or even a young flash in his day would be any different? makes no sense. edit: and who the fuck knows how long he's been playing? i'm sure none of you know him personally...
It's fantastic for Life, obviously. Incredible breakout performance.

Zenex came into this match with 2wins, 8 losses, and they've lost all of their top players to other teams like Taeja (ironically now on tl), puzzle, hack and of course Genius. Despite being one of the weakest teams in the gstl with a lineup being completely stripped of their top players they easily dismantled teamliquid.
Actually, on second thought I think TL's only hope is to recruit 3-4 more koreans to complement hero, zenio and taeja.
Or just merge with another korean team like Naniwa and Startale. We are kidding ourselves if we deny all of the players in TL from being B teamers besides Hero and Taeja. Their other players cant even get far in foreign tournaments. This match against the worst korean team proved they dont belong there. If its all for fun on their part then by all means, just no point in rooting for or having any hope on them getting far. They are a pack of hyenas surrounded by lions here.

TeamLiquid, you should grab Life by the horns and toss him into the garbage and then you may reclaim honor! Or alternatively beat Hoseo tonight.

It's like you don't even know what being a fan means :/.
I think last night's games show that Life is the real deal. Teams got owned by DRG by himself routinely when MVP were the 'bad' team, that's just how team leagues work. If you have a stud, you can get far (although ZeNEX have way more depth than people give them credit for, recent team leagues prove they have been harshly underrated going into this season).
TL should have a decent shot against NSHS tonight, HoSeo doesn't have a protoss sniper so HerO could get on a big run.

If TL throws out Taeja before hero and taeja takes out seal or jjakji its pretty much over for NSH... Assuming that jjakji losing to taeja would be followed by seal or vice-versa, with JJ's weaker TvT and seal's weak ZvP... liquid' stands a pretty good chance ^^;

You can be a fan and still be able to accept reality. If you are a fan of TL and want to root for them then power to you. All i am doing is keeping it real here. Zenex being underrated or not does not change the fact that TL was dominated and will get dominated by every other korean team.

So we're assuming San, Sage, Sculp, and Freaky are going to be complete non-factors? They will be preparing to snipe Liquid's best players; meanwhile, Liquid can't afford to snipe HoSeo's best players because they are working with the bare minimum. You are greatly exaggerating Jjakji's weakness in TvT while Seal doesn't need to be used until Liquid uses Taeja or is stuck with their foreign squad.
Team league is a different beast than individual tournaments and requires a different skill set. You can't assume that Hero/Taeja will randomly dominate other players just because they had one nice run in the GSL.

Stupid prediction. NSHS isn't just jjakji and seal, they are all fully capable of taking out players like Hero and Taeja.
