The thing that made me less confident about pushing him is that a lot of people were starting to think he was town all of a sudden, and I thought something was going on in PM-land that made them think that. Yet I didn't receive any info from anyone about this, and chaoser himself isn't responding to my PMs either, so I don't know wtf happened.
So I'm re-evaluating things in the light of what happened last night and noticed this. Who were the people who were starting to think he was town and did you PM them to ask why? Your playstyle is very aggressive, so I'm finding this explanation very dubious. Who have you been in PM contact with and can I see your logs?

It's not about power because the setup is weird like that, we can't actually lynch the people we want to lynch. I'm sure almost everyone in town wants to kill you Ceph.

You signed up to play with the setup, don't complain about it, find a way to use it to your favour.
As a heads up, some analysis/case coming up later today.

Why bother, not like anyone's going to read it except maybe chaoser.
I'm not complaining, I was pointing out a feature in the setup that is different from normal and I hadn't fully adjusted to at the start of the game. I actually think it's kinda interesting, although at times annoying to deal with as town. Maybe you can shed some light on mafia perspective?

If you wouldn't even look at it, then you're just way too confident about yourself. You just think you are right and aren't willing to think of other possibilities, and that is what's going to cost you the game at this rate, whatever alignment you are.
I haven't thought about the setup from a mafia perspective very much, as I am town, so I haven't bothered to waste my time on thinking how scum would play this too much, as it is very wifom. As mentioned, time is precious, use it well.

Also Wiggles any thoughts on chaoser/meapak or anyone at all? You started out fine, but you have faded a bit since then and I don't really have a clue about your suspicions

At this point since that's almost everyone I'm starting to go insanely paranoid.
"has total control and asks everyone to follow his plan"
"bitches about people being lazy"
Word dude? You do realize that if you, syllo, and palmar are asking people to follow your plans and control knowing the votes and whatnot that most people are not going to do much and just follow along right? That when people have different opinions, you either don't listen to them or think they are scum? You reads of scum are literally people who disagreed with the palmar plan (MZ, Ace, BC, Me) and people who are lurking (sandro). You're blaming other people when it's your own goddamn fault in the first place.
The fact that sheth flipped green is disturbing but that just means that last night all three up for lynch were townies. Given how meapak responded (I'm not saving myself, I'm willing to die) and how he only survived because of Sheth (who flipped green), he's obviously green as well. So we had three greens up for lynch. I don't know who in your group is the one but I'm sure one of them is mafia, dude. Probably palmar.
|
Some flawless logic there, you are clearly town chaoser
|
You are right about meapak though, I will reconsider him when I have time. He has to actually resume playing though. Care you explain your ET/Palmar reads?
|
lol syllo...you know what's funny? I'm going to be extremely happy when I flip town, MZ flips town, and you're stuck looking like an idiot and subsequently blaming the rest of town for your own failings; That your own arrogance will be the reason town isn't winning this game right now. I hope you're happy that you are literally making this a shitty game to play for the rest of us.
|
I've no problem being wrong and it wouldn't be just me being wrong. Who have you been right about again?
|
On day 1 you wanted ot lynch Palmar, on day 2 you wanted to lynch ET and yesterday Sheth, so I'm a bit confused as to why you even bother making that assertion.
|
oh wait, so you're sure palmar isn't mafia? you're sure that ET isn't mafia? how? They haven't been lynched. The only one I've been wrong on is sheth, which you've been wrong on as well. Fact of the matter is, the atmosphere you've set up in this game allows for no dissenting opinions and a complete reliance of your system, I'm sure the rest of town can agree. I remember for a while sloosh/radfield and prp were talked about as being mafia, especially since radfield didn't contribute much aside from agreeing with people early game. But all of a sudden they're no longer mafia, they're probably townie. All because they've bought into your system. How can you and WBG criticize players for not playing the game when your system asks for complete agreement and complete control of how round b works and anyone who dissents is immediately placed in the "scum" catagory. Ace was right when he first said it:
On May 01 2012 08:16 Ace wrote: K so the plan just needs a majority of Town to give up their individual brilliance, sheep a Yes/No vote and form a new pool of suspects: Except the method of creating this pool should be determined by 1 player.
Sounds awesome. Where do I sign up?
Obviously it's not round a that's being controlled but round b but the giving up of individual thought still rings true.
Like I said syllo, when MZ and I flip town, I'm going to enjoy your reaction. It'll bring back feelings of death factory all over again. I really do hope you, palmar, and sandro cut this shit out in the future.
Until that time, I'm going to keep pushing for people I think are mafia. I hope the rest of town does as well and not buy into palmar/syllo group.
|
As far as I'm concerned, and I'm speaking purely as a player of the game of mafia, this new trend is unsettling and killing the game. The game is back to being about the many following the few except now it's no longer blues but a small minority of players that browbeats and strong arms everyone else to follow them. And when things go wrong, it's cause of town not participating more. "Taking responsibility" my ass.
|
/end rant
I'll be out with my cases soon
|
Here's your mafia list:
sandro/ceph/sheth/ET/Palmar
I see a distinct lack of sloosh/prplhz. So are you saying that you think they are mafia after all? Are you going to produce that case on ET tonight? Tomorrow? Ever? I asked sheth/meapak/you to make a case on someone and none of you have.
Meanwhile I wanted to lynch sandroba on day 1 (likely mafia, you agree), bc/ceph on day 2 (mafia, likely mafia) and the jury is still out on you and meapak. Yes what an awful track record.

How do I have total control when one jackass like Cephiro can essentially change the lynch however he sees fit?
Also, there's a reason people trust me with their votes. It's cause I've been right at least once and I appear town to them.
"bitches about people being lazy"
If people weren't lazy we would've won by now.

Okay, let's see...
I only call people scum if their opinions differ from mine in a way that blatantly supports a scum agenda.
For example, saying that you believe cephiro + BC to be town over palmar + syllo, with the arguments you were using? Pretty fucking scummy, seeing as none of your reasons were valid and you're not retarded enough as town to normally believe the stuff you were saying.
The fact that sheth flipped green is disturbing but that just means that last night all three up for lynch were townies.
LOL what?! How the hell do you go from ONE flipping town to ALL being town?
Given how meapak responded (I'm not saving myself, I'm willing to die) and how he only survived because of Sheth (who flipped green), he's obviously green as well. So we had three greens up for lynch. I don't know who in your group is the one but I'm sure one of them is mafia, dude. Probably palmar.
So since sandro responded in essentially the same way, he's town too?
I guess all one has to do is give up when we try to lynch them, then we'll think they're town!
Man I can't fathom you'd think this garbage if you were town.
