A misshapen steel monstrosity. It can be described no other way. And yet it is such an object of desire, the seat of power. The seat of kings. The seat of conquerors.
Through the streets of King’s Landing there hangs a distinct air of unrest. On the surface the commoners go about their business – hawkers crying their wares, drowning out the loud clang of metal as the blacksmiths worked. Thieves prowled the crowds, shifty eyes darting back and forth searching for opportunities and guards alike. Everything seemed normal, almost peaceful despite the chaos of the streets.
Yet every so often the crowd’s eyes shift, almost as one, to the Red Keep, home to the realm’s royalty. Something – the commoners weren’t quite sure what – drew their attention. The towering castle had little to do with their everyday lives but they couldn’t quite shake the feeling that something was underfoot in the giant keep, something that would shake the foundations of the city.
Something monumental was indeed manifesting within the towering walls of the Red Keep. Political intrigue, power plays, secret plotting; the Game of Thrones has begun.
And in the Game of Thrones, you win or you die.
wherebugsgo is Petyr Baelish, Littlefinger. He cannot be lynched nor killed as you big manly men tend to ignore him as hardly a threat. Cause you know he's not packing much. A few inches short of being considered a serious threat. He sure knows how to multiply those golden dragons but it looks like subtraction hit his own dragon. Future Lord of Harrenhal, the Hummer of Westeros castles - and we know what they say about guys that drive Hummers. Where other men wield swords, he prefers the dagger.
They don't call him Littlefinger for nothing.
Day 1 will end on Saturday, Mar 24 12:00am GMT (GMT+00:00).
NOTE: The roles in the OP have been updated with all relevant info regarding their mechanics. Day 1 is also longer than the other days because I couldn't keep it in my pants. GL HF.

Wasn't Petyr supposed to be a neutral party...?
Anyways, glad the game started I hope the first day lynch won't be just a random lynch, like it usually is in the SC2 Mafia mod. At least here we have more time to "read" players and everyone has to post!
Me (syllogism) and Sandroba will be sharing this account as sandroba is too busy on some days to play properly. Other than that, hopefully sandroba will do most of the posting so I can just be lazy.

Lynch the Liar!
Where other men wield swords, he prefers the dagger. Bugs are you going to be killing people on us or do you get to do something more amusing?
Haha Petyr can't be lynched though... We'll just have to wait and see what he's going to do. It would be more productive to focus on finding out the Mafia players, since we can't do anything about Petyr, even if his win condition is to kill everyone else or something like that...

I'm the funniest guy alive!
you shall never know what I do! But I'll be kind enough to give you noobs my reads. Like, for example, sandroba, who is normally so terrible as town that I have to do all the work for him.
Well, Curu hasn't said I cannot speculate about Petyr's win condition. Remember that this is idle speculation, but I have read the books a number of times and if Petyr is anything, he is untrustworthy. He only serves his own means, so I am inclined to ignore everything he says, including that he is a vanilla townie
My hunch is that he must kill Ned Stark and keep Catelyn and/or Sansa alive until the end of the game to win.
Okay seriously WTF. I know I'm new to this game, but voting me for that reason alone makes no sense. In fact, it seems quite a scum move to cast suspicion on people right at the start of the game.
Or am I going overboard and it's just a way of getting people to post at the start of the game? Either way, I'm watching you and risk.nuke. Voting off the bat seems fishy.
Oh, here come the random lynchers again From my experience in SC2 Mafia, random lynchers were usually Mafia (trying to get townies killed) or trolls. However, since I guess the skill level here is a bit higher, you might be just trying to reveal Mafia players by forcing them on the defensive. In any case: if my previous experiences have any value, chaoser and risk.nuke have a higher chance of being Mafia than town.
(At least we now get to see some interesting reactions, I hope! Acrofales had a quite interesting reaction, too, although it doesn't necessarily mean Mafia yet... Some people haven't said anything at all yet, and I can't wait to see what they say. At this rate there will be a huge amount of data to base lynch votes on )
Ah, damn it... No editing! However, I just thought that since you HAVE to vote every day, it might not be such a bad idea to throw random votes early. In my previous Mafia games it was common not to lynch anyone on the first day, and wait for clues on the second day. When people random lynched on the first day, it usually just meant an easier win for the Mafia.
But with these rules, I don't think chaoser and risk.nuke are necessarily Mafia - it's very possible they are just aggressive town players (or trolls). risk.nuke's post at least seems more like a troll than a real accusation.
Hmm.. Maybe I should also random vote. Several people are still lurking, so it would seem sensible to put the pressure on them Too bad Petyr is such a mystery, but seems like Mafia is the only possible target at this point.
