He scouted where Brave cheesed him, what Flying did was where Bisu cheesed Wooki
Okay so what are you saying? You should only learn from your own mistakes and not those of other people who've also played on the same map? Just because that specific situation didn't happen to Jaehoon doesn't mean he can just ignore the possibility.
Chiding him out on it isn't exactly fair, everyone that plays on that map is at the risk of being proxy 2-gate or cannon-rush. Not everyone has scouted properly for it either, if anything I'd say it's just a damn unfortunate coincidence that it happened to Jaehoon twice. Personally I'd say Flying would have done that against whoever he was being matched against
Exactly. That is exactly what I'm fucking saying. Everyone is at the risk, so maybe everyone should check. Especially in such a high stakes game. I mean, this is Chain Reaction for God's sake. If it isn't Zerg mining out the back minerals or Baby floating his proxy rax over the back temple, it's Protoss cannon rushing or proxy gating. I'm not trying to specifically call Jaehoon out for being bad, I'm just really disappointed that the situation even came to this, when it could have been avoided if he had just learned from the mistakes of all the people who've died to dumb cheese on this map.

He didn't die to dumb cheese. He stopped it. That is the problem here. He had pretty much won the game and then hyuked himself. This is why people are being angry at him.

this team needs more resources because these are some of the best kids in bw and they look so fucking depressed all the time
you can't really blame him for losing that one, that was a dirty strategy and a close close situation
you can 100% blame him and he knows it
Don't you know it's a sin on TL to blame Jaehoon for being terrible
You're a horrible BW fan. When Jaehoon wins it's "ehh gj". When he loses EVERYTHING is his fault and he's horrible, that's some double standed bullshit right there
You're terrible
What do expect, he even hates on his own team when they lose.
Anyway, to people saying Killer should retire as well, pls stop this. The players on this team have been through enough already.
tbh no matter how many people here say failhoon or that killer couldn't kill a fly, it doesn't affect T8, esports or anything important for that matter. let forum nerds be angry all they want, it don't mean nothing. whatever happens to the T8 team and esports will happen because of other factors, and nothing here (good or bad) will change that. so no need to get so upset.
are you saying if T8 were to produce good results and got sponsored because of that, it wouldn't affect the BW scene?
where in my post did I talk about team performance? team performance WILL affect T8..obviously. if you read my post it simply suggests that people should not get so upset and link remarks like "failhoon" as bringing down the glory of south korea esports and bw.
esports and bw in korea is nowhere near that frail.
NOOOOOOOO (( T8 they continue disappointing, apparently they are really no TOP-team. All the time I was hoping they show their real power, but it seems like this is their power.

Well, its not like I didn't expect it.
Silence. I'll give you the three real reasons why T8 isn't in the playoffs: 1. Coaching/Lineups [choices] 2. Sea 3 Killer
The results speak for themselves.
All these players have proven they can perform at the top, it's up to a coach to make sure they get and stay there. So yes point 1 but 2/3 are the result of point 1. Team 8 failed and he's to blame, it's more then looking cool with sunglasses in the studio, it's your interaction with player making them feel confident suporting them, do as much as possible so they can focus 100% on the game. Perhaps it's to much for him alone, but considering his past succeses he disipoints me and he can not make T8 play solid each and every time.

The coach can only do so much when he isn't the one playing the game. It's unbelievable that you actually think a coach can be held 100% accountable for a player's performance. Players slump. Sea and Killer just had horrible timing on theirs.

I see Starcraft like any other sport, if a player is slumping is it not a coach job to help them out of it ? Why do they have coaches instead of assistants who just take care of there agenda ?

The coach is doing a good job.
Q. While the team is doing well, your last match against STX SouL might be regretful. (Z)Jaedong – In a coach’s shoes, it is hard to contain your anger in that situation. But instead of saying something to the players, he supported us saying ‘let’s do better next game fighting’. Seeing the frustration on the players, he definitely gave us more confidence. I think that affected us in today’s match.
Omg 'Hoon! You were clawing yourself out of it. You even trapped that one zealot and was ahead in the army count. Another Pylon closer to the gates, maybe and Team8 would have had a chance at the playoffs. Then again - lackluster performances have been haunting Team8 throughout the season. Jaehoon did a good job today but just got unlucky.
Flying was surprised as hell to be winning that game. Big ol' grin on his face, throwing the headphones off to high five the teammates after losing all but 4 probes in his base. Brood War fighting.
T8 has been really unclutch, Jaehoon is showing pretty impressive play only to screw up at the last part and give his opponent the win and it really makes me RAGE. If only killer/sea started to buck up or something, jaehoon would feel more relaxed and would probably play much better. Depending on JD/Baby combo isn't going to get T8 anywhere when theres so many other teams with more clutch players (Stars: Light/Zero/SK SKT:FBB Khan:Stork/Jangbi/Roro/Reality CJ: Effort/Hydra/Leta/Snow)
If T8 doesnt buck up its going to be downhill from there on
I just hope the team will at least continue to give their best for the 3 next matches. If they play another season, i'm sure they will do better. Every players on T8 showed us that they can play great games, it just seems thats its never more than 2 per day that is able to do it :\
