So I am in love with the band IN FLAMES I have listened to just about everything they made. Right before work I go and watch 2 videos to get me pumped up lol they are these...
Like I have to watch them before work.. then i listen to IN FLAMES on the way to work I have never really liked a band like this lol... Just wondering of there are other metal heads out there that love this band and play SC2 :D
Also every time they have been to Las Vegas I have seen them live fucking love em lol :D
WISH I COULD RAPE THE DAY (I want that as a tattoo) lol
I remember i HATED metal in general before i found In Flames, now i LOVE the genre and them specially. The only album im not the biggest fan of is their first one but the rest just keeps getting better and better. I'm a sucker for a sick guitar solo so Man made god is just the best thing ever and a lot of their music has that, really listen to them and Scar Symmetry a lot now.
I am just glad there are others that think In Flames are GODS like I do :D Also I have a name change I was thinking about naming my self Whoracle or ClayMan I am just not to sure I want more of a inside kinda name for IN FLAMES i mean Jester is cool sounding just doesn't look great lol.
Still my most played band in Last.fm ... i'm more into electro now but i always love coming back to some good ol' In Flames! "Reroute to Remain" 'remains' my favorite album ... but i don't really like the stuff after "A Sense of Purpose" Still, great live band!
In Flames are indeed awesome. But I as well much prefer their newer work (a sense of purpose and later) to their older albums - with some individual exceptions.
Not really a big fan of their newer stuff, but I guess it can be ok sometimes. Their older stuff is amazing though, it's just too bad they don't really play a lot of it live anymore, last time I saw them they played both colony and the hive though, so not too bad I guess.
But, despite having been to a lot of their concerts, I'll still go see them any time I can, they're easily one of the best live bands I've ever seen.

Considering they're doing a tour in small clubs in Sweden this year (sold out pretty much instantly here) rather than at the big arenas they usually play at, one can always hope they play more of the old "classics" on this tour.
right up til sountrack to your escape i was madly in love, not so much since then. tough to be always amazing though : D soilwork, static x, mudvayne, system of a down (+serj tankian solo) off the top of my head all seemed to trickle off on their last few albums imo. perhaps its a tough genre to stay sexy in (metalyish). some recommendations for OP and readers from my opinion in case anyone was wondering:
soilwork: A Predator's Portrait, natural born chaos, figure number five, stabbing the drama all very good static x: everything before cannibal mudvayne: first two cds, especially LD 50 system of a down: all really, hypnotize to me wasnt so great though and serj solo was a no no for me too
