I know stats isn't everything, but Naniwa's 10 latest games in PvP is 9 wins, and his winrate in pvp since August is 80%. I'd say it's fair to say Naniwa is the favorite in the matchup.

(Or at least, he used to be before the ghost nerf) His endgame mass ghost/PF composition just tears zerg apart, where MMA has an incredibly fun but shakier TvZ. If it had been Mvp playing in the game 7 of Blizzcup it would have been over about 15 minutes quicker and in a much less exciting fashion. MMA has an amazing TvT and one of the best TvZ in the world but I still give Mvp the edge in TvZ (until the patch..) And yeah, as soon as he fixes his CTS he will start to dominate again, you can hold me to it. The ghost style in TvZ is going to be severely weakened post patch though... As for the hypothetical if MVP were in the Blizzcup finals, DRG never gave MMA the breathing room to transition into ghosts. The game was incredibly close, and going mass ghost requires substantial economy and production time, which no Terran player could have done under the pressure that DRG was applying. As for who is a better TvZ player right now, MMA or MVP, I would personally say MMA, simply because the ghost nerf will greatly weaken MVP's style.

I definitely agree that this patch will kill Mvp's ZvT (which makes me so sad), it was always so beautiful to see his lategame vZ control.
