Well maybe he can teach them the practice disciplines, but anyone who has been on a pro team can do that. They just need a "father figure" and a good face for PR, yellow is good pick. One of few available BW legends on the market, highly respected in Korea.

In reality, it has a huge fanbase in Korea at the moment; even the regular LoL league has been scheduled to air during the regular timeslots of OSL.

I don't see many people stating that LoL is going to fail around here Contrarily I do not find much vehemence here and is not surprised about it. As long as the game isn't completely terrible (and obviously some would disagree with me here), it is nice to see some familiar faces that cannot maintain their hold on BW scene for various reasons at least sticking to Korean e-sports, albeit in bit different context. There are concerns that OGN announcement of new LoL tournament is death toll for OSL, but if such rumours turn out to be true that's because of failure of OnGameNet, unlike SC2 that fully intends to usurp its predecessor and those who play it (especially considering the fact that MOBA and RTS are different genes and likely to appeal to different subset of players/viewers). Completely unnecessary and inflammatory post unless you can produce proof that "many" people here are indeed bashing LoL, because seriously I see your writing only encouraging people to bash the game.

Of course that doesn't take into consideration playing from home, but LoL runs on more PCs than SC2 and is free so if anything I'd say they have more than 5 times the players

Doesn't stop it from a simplified game aimed at casuals.

People who don't play it don't watch it, but people who play it enjoy watching it.

For me personally, its really entertaining to watch Dota. I'd imagine its the same for people who watch and play LoL, they understand the game and therefore find it entertaining.

It's hilarious because if you take a look at where QQer are posting, most of them are from Starcraft 2 - quite strange considering they are all SUPPORT ESPORTS / GO ALONG WITH THE TIME over there

Yeah watching the really high skilled dota teams play each other is amazing. Not only the teamwork and how they move around on the map and gank but also watching the sick ricers doing their thing. Thats why I can't take LoL seriously when you can't deny creeps and everyone has free TP back to the base, or even those skill things you can select before games where you can run faster for XXX seconds or blink, oh and the awful graphic. It's like with sc2, everybody can control a 200/200 army or storm like Jangbi. In LoL everybody can farm and juke lika pro without any effort at all.
