It's no offense choas, and I'm not beyond reason - I just don't feel good about voting you on D1 team, that's all. Change my mind bro...NOT by asking "Why?!"

I'm arguing we can't allow people to call other people town unless they give a legitimate reason. Suppose I call player X town because "I like what he is saying". It's human nature for player X to now trust me more. I've now given up absolutely nothing in exchange for player X's approval. I'm not sure I'd really call that an assessment. You mention that blazing is spammy and that Palmar is a bad scum, but that doesn't really mean much to me alignment wise until they provide some meaningful content. Notice how you automatically trust me less now that I called you out on something? If I had simply gone along and mentioned how I agree with your application of meta to the other players, you'd probably think better of me. I've found that saying you trust someone is something scum tend to do, but typically scum are careful about how they do it. It's atypical for scum to come right out and say they trust someone in their first post, specifically because they don't want to appear to be "buddying" and have knowledge of peoples' alignments. When compared with a post like this one On February 20 2012 10:57 chaos13 wrote: I'm going to assume you're town for the moment and give you some advice. Let's talk about a little thing called a pro-town atmosphere. You should all know what this is, and how it benefits town. I want to see it happen. Let's all get rid of the sarcasm and aggressive tones, and try working together to win the game. Can we all do that? Good. So, we agree on one thing at least: If a team made of A, B, and C successfully completes a mission, that means that A, B, and C are chosen again, even if Leader D has to exclude themselves. If there are any arguments against this, make them clear now. Navillus, before we start bickering and WIFOM'ing any more, please submit a team selection. Specifically where he says "going to assume you're town" I'm not just "assuming" that Palmar and Blaze are town. I have a specific reason for thinking both are town. Perhaps chaos does too regarding Blazinghand, but he doesn't say as much - only "assumes" he's town and gives him some generic advice. Until we see some activity from Nav, I'm going to be looking into Dirkzor as Palmar is the next leader and Dirk is the only one I haven't looked into on Palmar's presently proposed participant platform.

I'm also considering kita as a possible townie. We need to get a team suggestion soon though.

##Vote: Navillus: Nay Because if he's any kind of scum he'll have to include himself and his apparent disinterest in actually selecting a team makes me itchy about voting a team that includes him. So let it be written.

Also can we even yay/nay vote before the team have been proposed? Navillus have until 2.30 hours before he HAVE to put up at team (or fail to do so). Then it will be palmars turn.

It was a post just meant to be enhancing the effect that prphlz was town without him actually doing any pro town actions. On February 21 2012 05:57 Dirkzor wrote: I wouldn't want Kita on a team. So you agree with what I'm saying, yet as soon as I'm brought up for team discussion, you oppose me? Worried I might take your spot? If I would be selecting a team right now, I'd probably go with the most vocal players. The ones that are willing to call others out. Likely some combination of myself, blazing, dirk, VE. I'd be opposed to a team with sentinel (because of this post) and probably nav (too little info to go on) On February 20 2012 11:04 [UoN]Sentinel wrote: Aggressive tone means we're sure of ourselves instead of just going along with someone else. Also, I have an argument and I'm making it clear now. This post doesn't sound natural to me. It's as if he is trying to prove to us how can be aggressive by "having an argument and making it clear". He hasn't been even been aggressive towards any players, offering only wishy-washy statements on chaos and blazing. If I had to pick out one player as scum so far, it would be him.

No, by aggressive, I meant making arguments like the one you just made. It forces people to be active, and I actually had to stop what I was doing to reply to your accusation. The two parts of that post were not meant to be together. My problems with chaos's plan have nothing to do with aggressiveness. I just thought that his plan was retarded and wanted to bring this up.

The next leader is Palmar. You have 23 hours, 54 minutes to provide a team.

I'm not a fan of the "assume Palmar is town because he isn't playing like dick" given that he fooled me all Resistance I-- Palmar is perfectly capable of playing a fine scum, at least in this setup. I'm going to wait and see what kind of team he suggests before committing to a vote.

But, like you, I'm reserving judgement until he officially suggests his team. It's easy to say "I'm thinking A, B and C for a team" and actually put forth X, Y and Z, ya know?

And that's why I don't like Navillus, who just dodged super hard. I will nay-vote any team with him on it. Regarding Palmar: I meant to say "playing poorly" rather than "playing in a mean-spirited fashion"
