Then what's the point of putting player's name on a piece of paper? That means OGN doesn't know about who is coming out next set. So in that case, the coach/manager can definitely write whoever they feel like according the situation.

So that opposing team doesn't see your picks even if they don't actually get to play as referees hold those papers. OGN knows as they get info after set is completed (if next set is needed that is) from referees.
Its kinda like pre scandal system but not released to public though
