It seems surreal. I used to be so anxious when asking out a girl. But after experiencing the hell that is ladder, dating is small stuff! Now I enjoy the small tingly sensation. I wonder if there is a scientific explanation. Is the anxiety I feel with ladder similar to the anxiety I used to feel with dating? It's weird, but SC2 has improved my love life.
I can't say the same about World of Warcraft, Diablo 2, etc. There wasn't the same kind of pressure. Ladder is making me a stronger man, perhaps? So, to all my ladder comrades, fight on!
