I'm Bim Kasinger, a unknown 18 years-old from {insert your homecity here}. I love computer games and recently found out about Starcraft 2 and this site. My hardcore gaming-experience from The Sims 1-3, Farmville and at least 10 years of Starcraft Broodwar made my switch to Starcraft 2 easy. I instantly won all of my placements and started at the league they call masters. Now I'm improving a lot by watching all you nerds play. Since I just broke me a nail off my finger, I decided to control my gamepad with my toes now. Dedication of practicing 8 to 10 hours a day will only take me so far, especially when its a waste of practice time mostly laddering and becoming frustrated with the lack of success i get, and the lack of stability my life has, which in turn hurts my play drastically. depressed say hello to a 15 game losing streak and poor results. and in this community there is very little hope for someone outside of all the loops to actually succeed with dedication alone. It just seems most of those qualities are completely luck based on happening to be found and getting that jump start. nothing against julia she is a nice person, ive just been so meh personally lately i felt like writing an epic post to help get somethings off my mind personally after reading yours. Well welcome to the real world where it's never a meritocracy and arbitrary variables that you can't control (in julia's case her sex and looks) come into play to such a significant extent that it can make or break your career. | ||
