Yes, it's also my favourite manga. I buy all of the English volumes, all of the omnibuses (so now I can own the same volumes twice) and I have a few of the Japanese volumes.

I have most of the negima anime openings on my iphone and i feel sad every time i hear them now. I know it had to end someday but there is just so much that is still out there for Akamatsu to cover in the negima universe. As long as we get negi x nodoka ending i might be able to accept it xp.

Its already 17 episodes in, wow I did want to watch it for closure but 2 episodes in I had a hard time staying awake, which is strange because I dont particularly dislike it either.. Ill just find out what happens i guess, better than going through 20 odd episodes.

I don't want to bother because I don't think it'll release on time anyway, what's more wait when it already took around 1.5year delay.

+ Show Spoiler +In her particular case, I never liked her at all. She was always either irrelevant to the plot, or just made relevant to the plot to give Shana competition/tsundere love triangle drama. And since the anime at this point has completely moved past that point, shes practically useless.

so what do you guys think about Moretsu Pirates?
After reading the short description I thought it was going to be some high school based comedy but after watching the first 5 episodes I am positively surprised and really like the direction the anime is taking.
