If you come in here looking for "anime recommendations" then please refer to this chart before posting: Anime Recommendations (as of may 2014). We also have an IRC channel called #tladt where we all hang out. The channel is on Rizon, not QuakeNet! Feel free to check it out. Can please someone help me find another action packed anime with a nice story ? no bleach, one piece and yugioh.. My personal favorites are Naruto and Hellsing ..
thanks in advance take a look at the top of the thread and read the recommendations chart. Personally I'd recommend School Days. It starts of a bit slow but towards the end it has good action. take a look at the top of the thread and read the "also please stop trolling people with school days" part. Also, other guy, you would probably like Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, based on those.
still worth a try if he didnt read it.

Anyway, how did Negima get to end? Was is forced on the author or did the author decide to end it himself? Cuz I remember hearing some rumors about 1 more arc after this one, but apparently it's not going to happen.

yea megaupload was really the only place that was brazenly keeping licensed shit like it was nobody's business. You will still be able to find DDL's for most stuff fileserve and all but itll be a headache compared to just torrenting it.

I've gotten a bunch of great suggestions but I'm having trouble locating half of them. A few have gone down or tightened up because of all this recent "piracy" stuff. I just watch a lot of stuff on Netflix and read manga, I'm not much for watching Subs. My issue with netflix is it's very rarely I come across a dub than I can even stand, let alone enjoy. If only they offered subbed material. Preferably in DDL or XDCC format, my cable has issues with torrents for some reason. They've got a handful of subbed stuff. It's weird though, they'll only have one or the other for any show, never both for anything.
For me, a good story can carry mediocre dubbing. Bad dubbing though, just hurts. I still haven't watched the Negima anime because the dub is so bad and I'm too lazy to get the sub.

I've always torrented my stuff, only had to resort to DDL a few times, for shows that are recent enough to be blacklisted on BakaBT, but old enough to have shit luck finding torrents on the subber's site. I'm glad I downloaded Aquarion when I did, otherwise I'd be out of luck right now lol

something about my the way my cable modem/router works it can't handle the large amount of connections that torrents make, so I can only do 1 at a time and it shuts down the rest of my internet

Going to the subbers site usually provides you a link to their irc channel, and therefore, their XDCC bots.

I had a problem where my modem/router would reset because of too many connections, limiting the amount of seeds/peers you're connected to helped fix it.

Do yourself a favor and check it out I don't want to bother because I don't think it'll release on time anyway, what's more wait when it already took around 1.5year delay. Last time I read a demo was like Eustia, and that was a dumb idea in hindsight. Never again. inb4 eca plays eushully game demo at like late Feb and cries for 2 months.
Same. I don't want to play a demo that will only increase my anticipation of this piece of vapor ware

This. I had the same problem.
you should start by limiting the number of connections to 50 , and if your still getting disconnects , go down to 40 , 30 , ecetera. basically , find the highest number that works.

Oh thats very interesting, Usually its just the Near eastern epic shit that makes it to this kind of stuff.
I majored in religion and while Old Testament (because its such a mess and a pain) and Gnostic practice was probably not my forte this is awesome to read because the referencing is pretty accurate, playing around with gnosticism in fiction is easy though, there isnt much detailed history on it.

there are not much details about it but this is what makes it a good basis for a story. There is enough material to make a good background but at the same time it leaves enough space for your own imagination. And judging by the extra page of explanations that was included there is quite a bit of material even though there has only been 2 major excavations of gnostic texts. So what you get is the good background story of the gnostic Genesis without the eventually negative effects of knowledge about gnostic dogma and rituals which might hinder the flow of the story.
I am doing my bachlor in religion sciences and arabistic so I have quite a bit of interest in these fields too ^^
Another the anime is getting better with every episode.

Anyone here read Homunculus? It recently ended and it left me confused and puzzled.
+ Show Spoiler + What happen at the end? It would seem that he had become obsessed with Homunculus and went to drill more hole a ear later. Not just that but he seems to have become really insane since all he can see his reflection of himself. What I dont understand are why he see so many Homunculus of himself. Usually the Homunculus had some sort of meaning and could be understood but I am left confused about this. Is the author trying to say that he has come to except that the Homoculus are nothing but a pieces of himself?
What the deal with Nanako? Did she die after the surgery? I would assume so since they zoomed in on her surgery part and could see that she continued to bleed.
EDIT: Wait, I think I get it now. I think the reason he see homoculus of himself was because he wanted to be seen.
