Okay okay... Pretty good episode, I was expecting for this to help me fall asleep but a lot of good stuff happened. Feelings between Ichika and Kaito grow and poor Kana is bearing witness to it with front row seats. Its really hard to not root for her when her character was so well developed this episode. But so far she earned enough respect from me to actually remember her name now, instead of me calling her "blue-haired girl".

And the end, literally my jaw dropped..

I find it hard to root for self-centered (or maybe just naive?) Kana as she doesn't even realize Mio's position let alone Tetsu's. Ep showed me simply. Kana attacks -> Not very effective -> self pity/regret -> end. Theres also a very lucky panda 15:47.

Meh, gotta remember that these are high school students and that we all used to be selfish in our own way when dealing with our feelings. Thats part of the main reason why I love school life anime: some characters you may not agree with, while others you could totally relate to.

I thought Mio being naked again is interesting, I wonder how many girls actually used to do that when I talked with them on the phone... Prolly none... fuck...

Actually the kid might not be as stupid as you though. He might not even know the purpose of these rules in the first place. He might just of been kinda forced to follow along and never really asked the question on how these things work. Also, he probably didnt believe in it as well. It make sense that they wouldnt want to tell other people these information to spread this around.

Anyways, I love where this is going. It what a horror/mystery/tragic genre suppose to go and they are executing it pretty well. Dont understand the hate about this series. Just like a horror movie, once you know the monster then the fear lvl of the movie starts to disappear.

I disagree. They've stated multiple times how this whole problem came about because they neglected to inform Sakakibara about what's going on. I'm sure everyone else in the class understands what's going on and why. Even Mei, the "victim" knows and accepts the situation. Do you really think "hey guys, we're going to ignore Mei for unexplained reasons" would have worked so perfectly for a full month? They absolutely cannot afford to force the students to follow the rules with no explanation otherwise people are very likely to disobey, as you suggest, and this is the exact situation which arises.

As for not believing, that may be the reason; however, it was also stated (I believe by Mei) how after umbrella girl died, anyone who had doubts before no longer doubted. While this may not completely apply to everyone, there's no way he had no belief in it at all. Three deaths in what? A week? would definitely affect a person's psychological endurance given the situation. You can see how after his death, everyone is willing to deny MC's existence because they fear dying next. The guy who later gave him the roster helped him a smart way by providing information without having any contact.

So, this guy's desire to help Sakakibara was not unfounded or inherently stupid, but the way he just dropped all the rules and was willing to answer any question is ridiculous given the situation. If anything, he should have restricted the questions or something.

On a semi-random note, it rained today. I was quite wary of umbrellas.
