Kimi no Iru Machi is apparently pretty popular? I can't see why, it's pretty plain as far as romance stories go. I mean, you can carry that sort of thing with good writing, which it has, but it's been pretty predictable. The MC is one of those guys that I just want to slap.
Kagami is much more enjoyable. The pacing has been really nice, not drawn out like most of these get. I'm rather enjoying this one, actually, there's something kind of refreshing about it.
Kagami's getting axed lol.
i really feel sorry for that author -.-
Mx0 was sooo good as well, but maybe he should publish in another magazine or something ~~

Kimi no Iru Machi is popular because the artist is great at drawing attractive women. All the girls in the manga are quite pretty.
It makes people want to ship for certain characters. Combine that with absolutely nonsensical plot developments, you are left with a series that people rage about but can't stop reading. It's certainly not because the series is good.

I just don't think a series can be carried by art. Like I said, the writing (dialogue, etc) is pretty good, but the plot is pretty standard. But I guess I'll probably keep reading it because the chapters are pretty short and quick reads.

Haha, there's been so enjoyable fanservice for me in nisemono lately. Normally my reaction is +-0 to fanservice, but in Shaft's animes it's usually kind of satire, humorous maybe over the top sometimes? Sankaku telling funny nicknames =). "Eromonogatari".
btw, anyone know manga similiar to koibana onsen? Not by story or characters but everything else.
holy fuck anime is GAY
This is what I think when someone calls something 'gay'.

Koibana Onsen? that very sexual manga that's getting updated on dynasty scans ones in a while? And every chapter is just the cast having sex with one another? That one?
No can't seem to recall any similar ones of the top of my head.

Yeah, there was some parts I liked it but stopped reading after 6 chapters for reason you just stated. Didn't like story deveolopment either. e:Now when I think about it it sounds probably I wouldn't want anything simliar lol. I just can't think how to explain myself.

I personally though the art was not that great but I wouldnt say it bad either. Although it does seem to have it own distinct feature about it though. Anyways, I was just left confused. From the cover page and the it look like an action anime but then it turn into a school day theme. Cant really say it bad since that creepy girl with the doll does spark my interest in following it more similar to Another. Hope to see that this anime will turn out good.

Yeah I don't know if they're trying to make the 2 worlds differences stand out, but having the action world look nice (like the whole OVA), and the school world look garb kind of makes me meh.

Well the action world had a unique taste of art as well. Similar to puella magi mahou shoujo but when it swapped over to the school day theme the art didnt really adapt well and I am left kinda torn between it. I guess as long as it has a good story then ti should be able to make up for the odd taste in art I guess.

I can assure you that nobody is watching this show for the plot.
