thanks for the chart!
i do not really care who is fighting whom, and i am hesitant to fully explore one universe or timelime, so i think i will take one series at a time, as SEED is currently being remastered i guess i will wait for that and watch one of the others, if i get more into it i may as well go back to the older series (like macross frontier made me watch sdf macross)

+ Show Spoiler [Guilty Crown 15] +Had there actually been some meaning behind Hare's death it would of been better. Seriously why the fuck didn't she just heal herself, then him.
I was really hoping Shu would try and attack the wall in his rage mode. Odd how Inori was trying to resist him when he wanted her void, since she's usually all "use me use me!". Especially at a time where everyone is getting their asses handed to them and are about to die. Man she's inconsistent as hell. Stupid doll.
And why did Hare get covered in the virus? I was under the impression that only happened if you were subjected to it, which if that was the case Shu should have gotten it too.
I wanted to see all the voids ranked, yet they delayed it until next episode, again.

Oh boy
Guilty crown 15 + Show Spoiler +Ok. Hare did not deserve that end. She's not my favorite character but dying like that should be reserved for Daryl.
Your criticisms don't make sense to me.
But heal herself before Shu? She thinks Shu is more important than herself. To her, Shu is her king. She sees Shu in a half dead condition. You have to remember her void heals things, it doesn't resurrect them. She had no idea how close Shu was to dying (He was probably pretty damn close). Obviously her priority is to save the king.
I don't get it. How was Inori inconsistent? Something was clearly wrong with Shu's composure. She likes Shu a lot. And Shu is her most trusted figure. But when something like that happens that makes him seem totally different she was petrified.
Everyone is infected with the virus. Everyone within the exclusion zone is infected. That's why they have to take the vaccine. The lack of adequate vaccine is the whole premise of the episode. I guess having your void destroyed is an instant death by petrification.

+ Show Spoiler [Black Rock Shooter 1] +Not really a spoiler, but I don't really like the new premise of the show... The OVA felt like it all came together at the end, and it didn't all come together into "the fights are just visualized emotional pain." I guess I'm kind of new to anime, because I feel like "I liked the OVA but the series was ehh" is probably a common theme...
Still gunna watch cause I like everything lol, just thought the OVA did a better job. Also the art outside of the fake world is kind of terrible, I don't think it was that bad before.
+ Show Spoiler [GC15] +I'm kind of split. On one hand, I liked Hare. She was a real person, which may not necessarily drive the story, but I care more about characters than story anyway. On the other hand, I'm glad it didn't turn into chronic unrequited love from character with emotions while Shu continues to love the clone of his fucking sister. At least now there isn't an awkward love triangle where everyone roots for blue hair. Shu can say (now that Hare is dead) that he had feelings for her, and not have to give up his relationship with the doll. I like that there was forced character development, because I think unless he goes full retard on us, new stupid crazy Shu is just a stepping stone between old stupid beta Shu and Shu becoming Gai.

Its those flat faces, shows like BRS can only be explained by advanced cultures like those..

I thought the plot was obvious?
There are two aspects of the story which are parallel.

Not sure if anyone here still reads it, but Negima is ending in just 3 chapters! While it's had its ups and downs, it's always been a staple of my updadtes and I'm a big Akamatsu fan, will be sad to watch it go.

Negima went from ecchi to DBZ. Although I think he botched it up a bit here and there, but it improved the manga overall. Honestly I'm happy it's ending, not that I don't like it, but it's rare for a good/decent manga to end. During my years of reading I've only seen Monster/FMA end, also Psyren, but that was forced to end. Deciding to end a manga takes balls and it shows good writing skills. Too many go for the "never ending story" type.

Shu becoming Gai is like Suzaku becoming Lelouche, kettle, pot.

I was pretty lucky, I guess, I found out about the anime the day before it was release. So I had no expectations for it. The first episode grabbed me for sure, and I m pretty sure it will grab almost anyone. However, after couple of episode that's when things started spiraling down. You start to realize you don't like the protagonist and you prey that maybe the next episode he will man up. Then at episode 15 maybe 10 for others you felt the same love you had on the first episode, but then this flash of instant realization happens... There are only 22 episodes. Which means there is no way this anime can redeem itself...
That is when I realize I don't even know who the Big Bad guy is !!! 15 episode in and all you get is this evil organization and a mad man with purple hair what about that blonde hair guy ? Doesn't he become a bad ass villain? They are hinting that he might turn good. WTF!!
7 episode left that does not lead anymore room for character development or loop hole fillings,. Which means things will just pop out and you have to accept it... just like that void measuring device.
Only thing left is to prey for a sequel that has better plot planning.
Should still check it out tho it's not special, but good to watch if you have nothing else to watch.
I am almost certain that GC is planned to have around 50 episodes. Source? My hunch. Based on the speed the plot is progressing. Your hunch is almost certainly wrong then, 50ep animes are rarely made nowadays. If they had announced a long term project people would've mentioned that fact from the start. 22eps, max of 24 w/ DVD only stuff is the most likely length. Maybe I said it wrong; what I meant to say is that there is plenty of room for a SEQUEL. We are talking about an industry that squeezes out sequels even when there is absolutely nothing to suggest for a continuation, it might as well as be a purely commercial consideration.

Plot is obvious, yeah, obviously bad. People watch BRS for action and voices anyway.

Oh, and even though it was forced, the ending of Psyren was actually pretty fucking good. I wish it'd come out in America, that's a series I wouldn't mind owning.

That feel when people in the thread don't read your post just one page back.
+ Show Spoiler [Negima] +I feel like there are too many loose plot-holes, plotlines and he promised us another arc after the magic world.
Negima Z on J-Comi. I'm calling it.

I was talking more about Therma Romae, I honestly dont even remember the plot off BRS, just some action and pubescent teenage girls.

I must say I really like where Guilty Crown is going right now. + Show Spoiler + Just looking at shu, we can tell that he was not fit to be a leader. He was too kind and I was pretty certain that someone had to die to make him realized the fault of his personality. I was expecting him to fucked up and cause everything to go ape shit and he feel emo and then change but the death of a significant character works too. I kinda wished it wasn't Hare but Hare fitted that person almost perfectly. She herself, was also too kinda and the minute she confessed (kinda) her feeling, it pretty much marked her death.
Well some may not like it but I like where this is going. If shu didnt change, it would turn all shounen and the power of friendship conquers all and stuff like that. Interesting to see how far he will go :D
