So I bought a Razer Mouse Bungee a few months ago for really cheap, just because I saw it at a store when I was walking around.
I set it up very quickly with my Razer Imperator, just sticking the cord into the thing at the top. I never understood exactly how the bungee was suppose to work. Whenever I moved the mouse around, the bungee holder's base would move around too. It would slide around fairly well, and I thought this was how its suppose to work. The sliding base is better than a sliding cord.
Well... today I moving it and I realize there was still a plastic thing on the bottom..............I took it off and the bottom of the bungee became sticky.......................
I'm an idiot

Not to be rude, but most people figure that they're an idiot as soon as they realize they just bought a mouse bungee.

That's mean T___T
Does the mouse bungee work effectively? I wouldn't buy one because I'm not hardcore but the mouse cord can definitely be annoying.
edit: why so mean to urself?

Lol, agreed. I'm actually curious, what makes it so that one is an idiot for buying a bungee? It helps quite a bit with making sure that the mouse cord doesn't get tangled with all the other things on your desk, and during LANs it helps a lot.

You're an idiot, many top pro players use them. Why? Because they're more comfortable and provide a slight competitive advantage. Why would they be an idiot? It's especially useful at LANs where you might not have the same space / desk setup as at home.

When I bought it I got made fun of by the cashier for not using a wireless mouse

It is used by top gamers all around the world. It works, and actually makes using a wired mouse much more comfortable.

Not to be rude but mouse bungees are fucking pointless, if your going to get a good mouse chance is its gonna have the fabric cord. If you do have the fabric cord a mouse bungee is pointless because how less of a resistance that cord has for tugs and what not, unless you have like a shitty desk that likes to shred your cords than you shouldn't be buying these pointless hunks of plastic...

Cashier's an idiot. Wireless mice still can't compete with wired when it comes to signal and responses. Some change their behaviour according to battery levels as well. How many pros do you see using a wireless mouse? Lastly, you're never going to have an "Oh shit, my mouse is out of battery" when try to split marines or something similar while using a wired mouse.

Actually a fabric cord causes more friction with another surface than a regular one, the reason it is fabric covered is because they hold up better. Bungees are very useful, there's no tug on the mouse and you have a uniform setup where ever you play.
Also the cashier comment is hilarious.
