Since you worked there for that long, there would be real value in a piece of paper that outlines how long you worked, and how satisfied your boss was with your work. It will help you a lot when it comes to landing good part time work later on - because what they hate more than anything is people that just quit after a few months and they have to go through the process again (or people that are sick or lazy all the time) Make sure you get something like that Reason is that while she may very well work as a reference, you never know - in 5 years or 3 years or whatever ... she might not be around, have moved abroad, changed jobs, whatever And GL to you.

Maybe you can learn a trade, you can learn responsibility, you can learn to manage your OWN bank account. These are all good things to learn at a young age, otherwise you may grow up dependent on someone else forever.

Dude, you're only 15, you weren't fired (laid off), and if there's ever an opening in that company, your boss is probably gonna get you first dibs on it. If you're really looking to find another job, good luck I guess. You could always try going pro in DotA 2...

But if the boss really did stick up for you as much as you say they did, i cant beleive they would get rid of you over a full time paying adult. But i guess employment law might be different in America anyway. Like others have said you will get a good reference from them and im sure another job will come your way! Plus this puts you in good direction when your older, you will be able to pick up part time jobs at a good level due to working in such an eviroment as a Kitchen store at a young age. Good luck and chin up
