Forget one liner posts, this dude drops a one word post! haha What was the "overrated" even aimed towards? edit-I'm guessing the whole maxing alchemy thing but you should at least say why you think its over rated, some insight would be nice, I just started a new character and don't really plan on doing alchemy atm.

It's on Steam so I can't see how to get the link but omg I'm so excited! :D I'm surprised nobody has posted that yet since it says the article is from 3 days ago. Were almost in mod heaven! ^^ It will take a while for the modders to get the great mods out there :p

Probably means the whole game is overrated tbh. Not the first one in the 500 pages of this thread.

Although I must say I like CDprojekt as a studio ALOT more than bethesda software. They release alot of very good content completely free, don't drop support for the game and actively keep patching.

After abusing Smithing and Archery leveling through marrying Aela the Huntress, I'm now at level 30. Probably should be higher by now, but I'm just surprised at how slow leveling is when questing normally in comparison to this. I was around level 27 when my 100 hour save file got deleted and I managed to finish the Dark Brotherhood, Civil War, and College quests as well as half of the main story quests. So far I've only finished the Companions quest line on my 2nd save...

Maybe because I use alot of different skills? I don't limit myself to just 4 or something.

Of course, the leveling reduction doesn't mean shit if you abuse Smithing, Alchemy, and Enchanting to get ungodly equipment, so I just never use those skills anymore. They're Skyrim's gamebreakers, which means something in a game with dozens of ways to remove all sense of challenge.

I'm actually going back to Oblivion...I only played through it once and it was unmodded. Oh I just remembered...I got all the Dragon Priest masks and unlocked the final one and...wow it was such a letdown, the last mask isn't even that great.

Thanks for the guardian stone tips there Aeres, my current character I really wanted to take my time with and not abuse anything and now I know I gotta go get a different stone so I don't get maxed fast again (aka bored because I become god in Skyrim). I hit level 58 with my last character and pretty much abused the hell out of everything to get there and didn't realize ahead of time it would make things less enjoyable later on. Also I think I'm gonna finally start Morrowind and Oblivion, what sites have the mods and mod install thing I will need? (srry for dumb question, I'm noob)

+ Show Spoiler + Firey battleaxe of souls The Draugr at the end gave me a fight, but then I just used call of valor shout and ran around the room while my hero killed him, quickly swiping at him with my ebony sword of stunning. Also, I turned my ebony armour set legendary, its crazy how little damage I take. Oh, and 50% Frost reduction (Nord) + 60% Frost reduction (Boots) + Whatever else = Draugr = no problem
