True, But I do think its a valid tactic if the protoss go so zealot heavy. Gonna be interesting to see if this "Thorzain special tactic" catch on I'd like to see it vs MC, Hero, Huk or some other Protoss with really nice micro.
Sure if MMA or MVP control them:D my money on the reapers

And about what Apollo said, late game TvP, late game is more difficult for the player with smaller economy. Just like Terran can PF anything, Protoss can cannon up the entire map and every base for much less money. As good as drops can be, they can be nullified by protoss without any supply investment, when Terran has to dedicate units to defend toss drops. No one builds cannons late game ever. The advantage of Protoss in late game is their ability to instantly remax if they have the gates. Mostly though TvP is just about who micro's better in the ball vs ball big battle that decides the entire game.
You must not survive much late game PvT then, because protoss in masters do it all the time. It's not about REmaxing, it's about being able to defend while maxed and banking 3k minerals.

I play Zerg. Never seen any top player get a lot of cannons in the super later. Definitely not in the way Zerg does with spines. I've plenty games where Protoss trades armys and warps in 30 archons though.

Maybe the metagame is shifting because in the last week, I'm terran, and every late game, meaning anything past 25 minutes, if toss smells any drops, there are cannons on every base.

The discussion is 100% theoretical, because in that game Terran didn't have PFs everywhere either. And why would a pro player not have either a high templar or cannons defending bases if they are floating 5k minerals?

Maybe. I just don't get the priorities. Millions of dollars are shelled out for fancy CG art, but dialog is goddamn terrible and the music has barely any atmosphere. So much immersion is lost without cool music. Alas, I don't want to derail the thread. Awesome Bo3 to start off the tournament, didn't expect Nightend to take this.
Edit: TB showing balls by playing WoW music during a Starcraft tournament
