This was easily the worst morning (EST) of GSL Code S in a long long time

IdrA, Leenock, Bomber, and Sen(in hindsight, that wasn't a good choice) Sen was a very silly choice, and Idra was pretty silly as well. Never bet for foreigners - that way you can be happy when they win and at least slightly happy when they lose.

Not long after, he dropped from his very first Code S tournament after suffering a 2 – 3 loss to ZeNEXByun – a shock loss after he had gone up 2 – 0 in the series with some of the best TvT play ever seen in the GSL. You could offer the context of that being the GSL 1/4 finals there =p I wonder what would have happened by today if Bomber hadn't let that series slip. Was a crazy week for sure On January 13 2012 04:05 ch33psh33p wrote: What. Out of the 8 spots in the round of 16 so far, 5 are terran. Thats pretty damn well. Fact checks, fact checks. "only" 4. It's still pretty much 50/50 on race advancement so far, though group A did have 3 terrans and Sen so 2 Terrans advancing there was kind of a given. (toss being 2 for 3 and Zerg being 2 for 6)

As a huge Bomber fan, it pains me to say that Bomber may have missed his window of opportunity to make it big in the GSL. Back in his heyday Bomber and Mvp were the only terrans who really knew how to macro, and it allowed him to get away with his reckless and cost inefficient micro. Nowadays almost everyone in the GSL can macro, and for those who can't they just beat Bomber in low econ micro wars. To make things worse Bomber's decision making has gone down the toilet. Given Startale's less than stellar reputation in terms of training rigor, I suspect this may be a coaching issue as well. In a way Bomber is sort of like the SC2 terran version of BeSt, a macro fiend who scared the shit out of everyone when he first arrived but never lived up to the hype.

Just goes to show there's more to game design than just balance. Personally I think Inca vs Oz game 3 was worth more than 2.5, but maybe that's just because I was watching it at the time

So he'll have a resurgence in...three years?
