EPTSo early this morning I jumped into a few games after watching a couple of streams trying to chill out.
And I ended up on my third match of the night fighting another Terran player of which I was initially scared off as he had the Kerrigan portrait and so I thought "Oh boy, here we go.. he's just here to troll me." and it turns out I was wrong.. way wrong.
Anyway the map was Metalopolis and I placed a proxy rax just east of his position on the bottom of the map and started producing ghosts as soon as I could out of it, saving up enough gas while using one rax at home to start filling in bunkers as I noticed he was amassing a small force to try and go up my ramp which I thought was alot larger than it actually was.
(For the record, he killed a supply depot!)
Anyway as he built more forces up I noticed my proxy rax was under attack and used the hot binded army I had there (Ghosts and marines) to start sniping everything I could.. and his army just melted.
Double the supply, mauarders and marines and his army just melted..
So I went on the offensive and took out his SCV's at his natural, then his natural CC and finally started up the ramp using more snipes to wipe out any marines and SCV's he brought to kill me.
Ghosts are redicously powerful early game in a TvT it seems.
Mind you I've seen Empire's Beastyqt use a more refined strategy before and win too.. he just does it for the lulz though.
