I suppose that if there is any place worth dreaming, it would be here on the TL.net blogs. Let me tell you about my dream, and then I will listen to yours.
It's been a while since I've sat down and thought about this. I've decided that my dream is to open a new-school arcade in my hometown. I think I'd either do this late in my life when I have more money, or if I can find an investor, I'll do this when I can. It would have console games, PC games, and lots of folding tables for young people to host events. I'd also sell sodas and candy, which would actually be big money-earners in a way, but really I'd be in it for the fun.
I'd host events like Magic The Gathering (or equivalent sweet card game) tournaments, and let gaming clubs use this space during the relatively low-traffic weekdays. I might host LANs and other events as well. Kids would dream about renting the place out for their birthday. We'd stock the sweetest computers (with cheap keyboards and mouses, sadly, due to the risk of spills) and would also sort of be a gaming store, since you have to make money. People would come to my store/arcade and get stuff for their kids, or just hang out and play games
That's my dream. I don't even know if I believe in it any more, but it is what it is.

I kinda felt trolled when I saw the blog in the sidebar because of this ( http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewpost.php?post_id=12936250 ) post here. =D
Aren't there places like that in the US already? Except for the arcade part the whole RPG+P&P+Warhammer+Anime combination is pretty common all over the place here. However, the idea of throwing an arcade on top of that... I love it. I'd live there actually. I always loved to hang out in those stores when I was 14-20, some kind of "PC Bang" within that thing and I've never left those things. <3
It's a great concept, don't even think that it's not viable to have one of those sooner or later. =)

Such a baller dream, it gave me shivers.
I have two dreams actually,
One of my dream is to become a child psychologist to cure their young brains so they can live their lives happily and make a mark in this world. I want to see every children smile, the children of our era is really rude and I hope to change that somehow as well. I also hope that I would be able to help scarred children in third world countries.
Another dream of mine is to somehow make an event center for PC games. Here in NZ theres NONE and I never got to experieced this only by videos of stuff like MLG.

My dream is to open an e-sports bar that combines a sports bar with a LAN and hosts its own tournaments.
My other dream is to spend lots of time with my children, though, which is mutually exclusive.

My dream is to be an English teacher or professor. I would also write books for children and get married to a wife that will probably be smarter than me and whom I admire for her intellect. She could also just be a housewife or a cook. We will have two girls named Celladora and Winona. They will learn ballet.
On my first date with my future wife, I will bring her to a secluded spot and sit under a tree. We will each have a bottle of ginger beer while we talk to each other about our own dreams.
That is my dream.

I want to cure cancer through the use of highly technical controlled apoptosis. Which I will need to "invent", in a sense.
"The beauty of a dream is that it's just that, a dream. If it comes true, it was never really a dream to begin with." - Someone, sometimes, a long time ago said that. Probably an anime I watched a long time ago.

That's a really cool dream. My dream is to have a recognizable trademark that people identify as professional.

Why not just do it? we have places like this in NYC, where rent is 99999999/month, im sure you can do it wherever you are if there is any kind of gaming community. Go bank, go small-business loan, start that shit up, advertise on TL, host events, it could really work.

I want to do something eSports related, it's something I really want to succeed. Maybe as a player, or a caster, but I know it's what I want to do.

Become happy/satisfied with what I do/got. And to overcome my terrible work ethics, but that goes hand in hand I think.
