ActionJesuz (Oh god please) Artosis? breek (the only well known Japanese player) Cytoplasm (who is in Korea atm) HongUn LastShadow (their Terran players are outnumbered) LoveTT Lucifron MacSed Moonglade (My bet) (They don't have Moon, but he should go here) Killer (SangHo) Sleep JYP (Smart now) Violet XiGua
So let those people be our more likely candidates Huh I thought xigua had a team and lucifron is on a break right now so it can't be him.

I'm hoping it's Moon. Assuming it is him, I can't help but wonder the immense command he has over his salary, haha.

So let those people be our more likely candidates LS plays zerg now as far as I know. Don't think EG would pick up a Chinese player, but Moonglade is a reasonable bet. I think that they would try to go for a korean player though.

I know viOLet was looking to join with EG, but he said he's not EG according to a post earlier so I'm not sure. Still kinda hoping it is though as he's awesome!

Which is why Moon isn't realistic. He must be extremely expensive based on the reputation and the popularity he brings. Moon would be great, but his price tag makes him unlikely. Should adjust your expectations based on whats realistic. But don't get me wrong.. would love to see Moon on EG.

yea and the guy was making 200k+ a year on his wc3 team. most likely has enough money banked where he can remain teamless for quite some time. a team even offering him 40k a year he wouldn't bother with all the politics, and I doubt EG will pay him 100k+....it would be an insult.
EG has pockets....but I doubt they are going to throw 6 figures his way with Puma, Idra, and Huk on payroll already

A team's job is to be the best they can be.
Koreans, on average, in the pro scene are by far the best.
So, to be the best team in the world, which should be every team's goal, they will need Koreans. Being the best foreigner team is a hollow title. It's like being the best minor league team.

could they afford it sure, but a bad business move financially.considering what they most likely pay idra, huk, and puma

So would this give them enough players to have a GSTL team?
Idra, Huk, Demuslim, Puma, and the new player, if he is Korean, would make five in Korea for EG.
