Anyone who continues this absolutely terrible off topic time of play debate from page 11 and onward will be banned.
The same goes for the regular crowd of:
-Balance whiners -Stream whiners -Event and caster bashers -HoN vs LoL vs Dota debaters

I wish I lived closer. Looked like a pretty sweet party, especially compared to an MLG (no fighting crowds). I will add some feedback.
If you can, drop some of the player accomodations that increase delay of regular season games. The meta-game delay caused me to not watch nearly as much simply because the gameplay seemed less expert. Yeah, you wouldn't think this would occur, but it did. Or there were just some bad games...
I like Gretorp, I really do. But he's an analyst. He just doesn't have what it takes to bring the hype. Pair him with a better play-by-play guy and I bet he gets a lot less hate (sorry, Orb is also an analyst-type & a good one, but not play-by-play). Announce walk-overs in the TL thread. Yes, you'll get less viewers some days if it's a big match. But it's just one of those professionalism things. I am always flabbergasted when players are stupid enough to do so, but even though it's their fault, you gotta be up front.
I'm still waiting for NASL to work to the league system's strengths. The one big idea I have is a minute or two before every match (as casters introduce it) put up a graphic of the division - baseball style, with wins losses, games behind, top two slots highlighted, etc. Then as the casters talk about outcomes do a real-time update of what the bracket looks like after a win or a loss by the players. The second part can be skipped with two bottom-feeders in favor of player-specific storylines.
I also wish you'd dropped more players from this season in favor of qualifiers, but too late now. Hmm. Why am I posting this feedback here? Lol. Oh well, too late now. Good finals, good event.

That all look so awesome. I wish it wasn't on the other side of the US from me.

If you want us to keep watching the league games where no money is on the line for the single games people will be playing during that, then you need a GREAT production that binds us. We need a show with rock music, INTENSE action and colorful hosts bringing the show guys. We cant have this low pace production and staggard akward talk in between games.
A league of this magnitude really should not suffer this problem. Because yes, this feedback has been given a million times around the community and nothing happens. Until it does people will never enjoy NASL like they could, and should be able to.
Not every tournament needs to be INTENSE action and colorful hosts, whatever the fuck that means. I would gladly accept more subtle tournaments. NASL could ofcourse improve but you just sound like a little kid that wants action in his face constantly, relax and put the EXTREME mountain dew down before you hurt yourself.

GSL - 2:10 AM. Dreamhack - 5-6 AM(?) for Pacific NA.
We are talking about the grand finals being played at sunday night/monday morning. I find it hard to believe that anyone thinks that was a good idea. At least not a good business model as it hurts the viewer count (both stream and live since you shorten the travel radius with the narrow time frame).

I thought it would be closer to 30k. The only people it was convenient for was West Coast and Mountain time. NASL continued to disappoint me all the way up to the last match.

even if it was extremely inconvenient to wake up at 6 AM, i watched the live stream because i didn't want to miss the finals and there aren't any free vods

This is what turns me off to PvT. Puma can be not mining for minutes at a time and still win. Shouldn't protoss be the race where 1 of a unit like the banshee is deadly, rather than Terran? Puma does this every PvT. He never wins macro games and only wins when he does a 111, 311, marine scv all in or a ghost timing. I do think the same, and I actually think cloaked units such as obs, banshees, as well as burrowed units should be entirely invisible, requiring some detection other than scan. Especially for obs, it's getting sniped so easily by terrans, at least if they have good eyes, and if they have a well constrasted monitor big enough and with good resolution. When an obs is moving, I'm pretty sure I can see it anytime it appears on my screen.

User was warned for this post I really don't get why u put a warning to this. A forum should be protected from people trolling or posting stuff w/o relation with the subject, but warning this is ridiculous. Keeping some freedom of speech and allowing various opinions to be expressed is imo at least as important as removing trolls. Everybody has is own way to speak I mean.
