Thoughts? That's fine, just make sure you post your vote post in advance to avoid being modkilled. DropBear is a player who plays occasionally and he's from Australia as well. Some people will also do things like wake up 10 min before day ends to make sure their vote is okay.

Sweet, I'll give it a go.

Sweet, I'll give it a go. *Best country in the world hi5* On a serious note, most of the games seem perfect to wake up to vote, just remember to leave enough time to read the thread.

Zona/Forumite, is your newbie game gonna exclusively be for people who haven't played any games ? I've played in Kitaman's newbie game and just finished your steamship game, but I would still consider myself a newbie. Would I be allowed to sign up?

At the least the game will be for players who have played in 3 games or less. The goal is not to recruit entirely new players but to give a more standard game for the recent new players.

I sort of know what I'm doing now, but I'm definitely a newbie compared to the vets around here ^_^

Assuming I get my name on the list before it fills up, Ill be joining the newbie game as well.
If the vote cutoff is the same time as Mini Mafia X was (11:00 KST), the cutoff was around 2-3PM Australia time which was good, although this might pose a problem for the Euro's among us.

You got yourself lynched day 1, thankfully prplhz kindly offered to be lynched over me, securing the mafia victory. :D
Quite a few people who played their first game there are still around. Most notably Me, Prplhz, Hiro Protagonist. VisceraEyes has also been around when he doesn't get himself banned, and Karshe has played some games. Stefftastiq did play a few but then disappeared, and Skrammen recently played another newbie game.

an ic is an experienced player who is designed to help out all the noobs, answer questions and generally teach. SEs are players with moderate experience who are there to play the game and make sure it's not newbs derping about for the whole game. I agree with palmar that 2 experienced players should be in all newbie games.
Coaches are nowhere near as useful as people seem to think they are.
Does the IC not actually play the game? like can he not be lynched and does he not vote/have a role?

Now that steamship is over, hopefully some non-newbie game will also begin shortly

If someone hosts a ~20 players game I'd be very happy with them.

Just give every town a way to deal with lurkers.
Every game over 16 in size should have a compulsive vigilante or something.

I know I was bad, I was just saying that that was my first game.

No it's fine, you actually didn't leave the game in ruins as some mafia do when they die n1. You actually didn't leave any traces back to either me or hiro protagonist which lead to us winning the game.
You fucked up, but you had the wits to go down without screwing your team over, which is good in my book.
