SM dominating shouldn't be a surprise, their company and artists are just better. In my opinion, but they also dominate the charts I honestly didn't think SNSD won though, they were so far behind in the votes, even though online voting doesn't count for much. They deserve it though for everything they've accomplished, and also what they've been able to do in such a short amount of time. So does Super Junior. They were incredibly successful this year. 2NE1 had a ton of #1's so it's not surprising they would win something for song of the year.

I mean, I understand that you're never too old for cutesy in kpop but something about IU's face now just seems... off. For the cute concept I mean. Although I don't see her pulling of sexy any time soon. There is something about IU that scares me when I look at her. I get frightened like this back when I was younger and saw pretty China dolls, afraid that they will suddenly start moving and kill me.

+ Show Spoiler + The noodle eating part so god damn funny, brings me back to the Teatime mission from the first few eps On November 29 2011 23:08 NB wrote: dude... they have will.i.am sing out of an iPad... lolol thats so asian eh? And imma talking about the "Awards" part actually, I knew BEP would come and perform and I actually think that the TVhead performance was damned great, just dunno if the real will.i.am was in that performance or not Could've been anyone. IU in semi serious cute images have always looked weird, imo. And that new song... Good Day in a different envoirement much? I swear if you watch it muted (it does sound like an IU song) it might aswell have been. Even the choreography has sortof the same moves. Song is alright, nothing special, I liked "The Story Only I Didn't Know" more.

SNSD put up a great performance as expected. SM certainly knows how to set up a stage, and SNSD did a great job of performing the heck out of it. Super Junior was impressive as well, but the whole beginning with Min getting kidnapped seemed so odd and it was weird for them to pull out Sorry, Sorry after all this time. 2NE1 also put up a great show. I liked the stage set up with the cubes in the beginning, and their performances were solid. Pity the performance with BEP was marred by an inability to get everyone's mics to work properly (thank goodness it didn't happen during the Snoop and Dre performance), and I think it would've been better to have all of the members participate instead of just CL. Shame that Big Bang didn't perform, they always have great live performances. It would've been cool to finally see 2NE1, SNSD, Big Bang and Super Junior all perform at an awards show, as I can't recall the last time it happened. MAMA did a nice job of creating impressive stages, and really allowed the groups to show off what they had.

Is this actually true or you just speaking your mind? I thought that a good amount of people in Singapore would know some amount of English.

Sure you may not think they are the greatest singers in the style of Hyorin/Davichi/IU, but that's not everything. Has Davichi done anything that isn't ballad type (serious question, since I don't listen to them)? Have 2NE1 done a variety of vocal styles on their recent album? I am the Best vs Ugly vs Lonely vs Don't Cry. No vocal talents? It's not best musical style it's best vocals. Who sings the best. 2ne1 sucks live, autotunes most of their songs. Admittedly the songs where they do sing they're better than most idol groups, but there's no way you can possibly say that they sing better than 2am or Davichi, whose whole concepts are that they're ballad groups. Their entire reason for existence is that they sing well. edit- @NB you are aware that English is an official language of Singapore and that it's either the first or second language of 80% of the people there, right? Stop making assumptions.

Did most of you guys know who they were or what? I mean, it was a "get" for them for sure, but only cause of their popularity in America and not really cause of any connection to kpop.
