I'd like to see the money get returned to S2, and for AZK to never see the light of E-sports again... He put himself above the community, and forever ruined the name of his clan, I feel bad for any decent members in his clan... What a waste.

really wonder what is going to happen to the players. and Sickness. doesn't seem like it's their fault at all, but with the azk clan name stuck to them during this time, no matter how brief, their personal reputation would have taken a huge hit.

As of now, Only SC2 can chase Gus for the money. For the other sponsors? It is up to them to make an investigation and prove that their sponsorship money were in fact used for other things...lets say personal gain? It is really an effed up world the thing about events organizing where the head can get away with so much and the fans will suffer for it.

This sucks, I hope everyone who was fucked over by this gets some sort of compensation, if not at least take it as a good learning experience. I think it's fair to say that Gus and team AZK won't be taken seriously ever again whilst trying to run an esports tournament.

Just to let you guys have an insight on what's happening here.

The ones apologizing (in the pinoy forums) for this tragedy are the azk MEMBERS. I can't seem to find a post or even a comment from Gus. We really empathize with the members because they did Gus' dirty job VOLUNTARILY/WHOLE-HEARTEDLY thinking that this would be a breakout for Philippine Esports (Gus' plans were not discussed with the members, he kept it to himself.) but apparently, their efforts were wasted. Not all AZK members are bad people, some of them really tried to promote Esports in their own little way. Some of them were just dragged into this mess, and some didn't even want to participate.

One man fvcked up, many suffered. Now I wonder how long will it take for him to have the guts to atleast explain this himself.

If a player really doesn't want to play for your team, there's nothing you can do, to be honest. I think the ones who want to get out will be fine.
