1) The Matrix - I watched the Matrix 1 and 2 and tried to figure out what was going on exactly. I knew Neo manipulated the world outside the matrix somehow but had never seen film 3 before. After I watched film 3 it turns out the question was never even answered, and they pushed this shitty story of the evil matrix virus man instead.
Well this is what my handwriting looks like when im high on marijuana :3
2) How to get a job super fast - I woke up one morning and went on google map. I went to my location then typed in "nursing home". A bunch of nursing homes popped up on the map in my local area. I printed and labelled the map, then printed some CVs, then I walked to 15 nursing homes using my list. I knocked on the door and said "Hi my name is blah, Im wondering if you have any job vacencies as a carer" (something like that). After being rejected by a few, giving in CVs to others, and being told to come back another time, on about the 14th place I went to I was told to come for an interview the next monday. Interview goes fine, I have a "shadow shift" the next day. Now I'm just waiting to start basically.
So now I have a job only 10 mins walk from my house! My previous job was 2 hours travel every day, which was miserable and cut into my gym/eating time so badly.
3) Gym & Nutrition - I'm a lot more relaxed now, not stressing over every little detail then failing to succeed because the stress and anxiety cripples me, but instead allowing it to become more routine and forcing myself not to over-think everything. Actually you can read about how to deal with anxiety and procrastination in the other thread I just made here.
My diet has been pretty solid but its not particularly affordable. Meals are:
a. Tuna, microwaved jacket potato, sweetcorn, butter/whatever it is b. Chicken breast cut and fried, with - sauce, peas, kidney beans - microwaved jacket potato, sweetcorn, butter - chopped tinned tomatoes, herbs - herbs, tinned carrot (soo nice) c) scrambled egg d) bacon & scrambled egg e) 0.5-1 litre milk f) ~20g protein milkshake to top me up
Notice I'm still not on the mince beef again. In the past I was eating nothing but like 2000 kcal of mince beef every day, but chicken is way classier! (and doesnt make me want to vomit)
Importantly, with regards to gym, - I am trying to get my breathing right on my lifts. I breath well on squat, and a guy helped me practice breathing right on bench. Breathing properly during deadlift is next! - I need to find out how to stand properly during press - Powerclean form - Look at other bench forms to make sure I'm doing everything okay ie not hyperextending my back... - I'm hoping my wrist/forearm problem has healed, tho I felt a twinge when I tried powerclean on one instance. Taking it reaal slow :3
4) Something for comedy/MMD/music fans - first is an epic song from Flight of the Conchords (go watch this series if you havent already).
Second is a seriously creepy MMD song (anime/vocaloid), it starts off a bit crappy but then gets DELICIOUSLY messed up :3
5 stars for epic interpretation of the matrix. Even though i only read 1 sentence. Still cool. Nice to hear about the job by the way, I'm looking for one myself.

Well you get paid just above minimum wage... its a pretty dead-end job and I wouldn't recommend it unless you're desperate. You can get a job pretty fast tho as they're quite small and personal places and you might even talk to the manager right away. In my experience they're often short of staff, and they don't mind recruiting young people. The only issue is waiting for a government letter or police check - it might take as little as a week for me to start here as they just want a letter thing, but it can take months in a lot of cases.
I went to local agencies trying to get into an unskilled job like admin or factory work (no cleaning tnx), but they have 50 people theyre already sending into those limited jobs and another 50 on the waiting list. So unless you've got a degree or prior experience in something, you can be waiting for a long time anyway.

Haha thanks , i felt really accomplished when i done it (started writing overleaf aswell) but the 3rd film was annoying!!
Dont underestimate travel times when youre looking for work! I chose my house here because its only 7 mins walk from the gym, but it ended up coming with 2 hours travel to work and back, which often meant i didnt leave myself enough time for the gym anyway!
I remember the movie explaining how he manipulated the world outside of the matrix. He actually just manipulated the machines not the world. I guess it's not clear how he exists in the machine world, but it shows his thought process travelling through the circuitry (the same path that leads to the machine boss in the 3rd movie) as if his consciousness is able to connect via wireless to the machines when he is about to disable the sentinels, or if his consciousness permanently exists both in his brain and in the machines.
It actually doesn't, the sequels just take it much further which was the whole intention of the philosophies the movie is based on. It was never meant to be simple and easy to understand, which is what the first movie is - a simple and easy to understand action flick with a feel good ending, but it barely scratches the surface of the philosophy involved. It is meant to be a view or critique of modern civilization and the implications are quite profound.
Unless you think "we were born from machines and neo can fly" is a satisfactory ending to humanity being perpetually enslaved. =/
Oh please, read this site BEFORE you start rewatching the Matrix films. I guarantee you will see the concepts in a new light, and appreciate the genius of the Wachowski brothers.
yes CV = Curriculum Vitae = Resume. its a good job if you're already working part time and want to just have a few extra shifts somewhere else for the variety and experience (tho you get taxed 20% on any "2nd job" for some reason, idk why, maybe someone can explain? im sure as hell not working for 20% income tax when im making less than 10k a year, LOL you must be kidding)
you can also do night shifts but i dont really know how any healthy person would want to work nights (then again i used to work 12 hour shifts at these places, you soon start to question the point of living)
