Hi there,
I'm a foreigner in Korea and I just got my ARC (the blue card) because I'm staying here for more than 90 days. I've always had the impression over the years that I've been around here that once you get your Korean SSN (which is what I got when I got the card) you are able to make an account for the Korean Starcraft 2 server.
Unfortunately that doesn't appear to be the case. Can anyone help me out or tell me what I might be doing wrong? I know for a fact that my information doesn't work because I've tried this many, many, many times already in all sorts of reasonably yet slightly different ways.
Any information would be lovely.

I keep coming back wishing I could help and to see if anyone has posted so I'm just gonna bump this up to the top for you so maybe one extra person could see
also perhaps you could elaborate what you are doing so that someone could take a guess

I. Love. You.
I couldn't find the English version fo the iPin -- so I just assumed that it was merely a Korean language only thing and that since I didn't have a cell phone or bank card here yet it would be necessary to travel to 새정대로 and apply for it in person.

I don't want to make a new post about this so I'll just ask here.
EDIT: I just realized that this ISP page is specific to my bank and that I have to create a separate account with them to make online purchases and that I can't at the moment because my phone number is not the one associated with the account (in order to confirm the account). Sigh... Korean online experience is honestly so convoluted. Disregard the below.
I made an I-PIN a few weeks ago and I have a few questions about it.
When I made the I-PIN I installed that TouchKey program and from what I understand the I-PIN certificate (inside that program, I think) is needed to be on the computer in some form (either on the HD, an SD card, USB drive). Now that I've had it installed for a few weeks I don't really know where it installed or what folder/files I can move to an SD card to have this be portable for convenience (like online shopping at work, hah!).
ALSO, I've been trying to buy Korean SC2 digital version for a couple weeks as well, getting stuck and giving up, finding out something else then getting stuck and giving up again. I've finally got to the point where I've got my Korean B.net account, I know the credit card purchasing area, I use IE with activeX to be able to load the silly payment screens, I have a Korean debit card to use, but I keep getting errors when trying to use that ISP Payment page that pops up. Any hints? Would screen shots possibly help my plight?
Thanks for any help in advance, I know these are vague problems. I'll get more specific if anyone thinks they can help. <3

Hey man,
FYI if you have made an account on the Korean B.net then you can play SC2 for free all you want as long as you're doing it from a PC방. I wasn't able to buy the thing yet, but I did get to play it today when I walked over to a PC방. Just thought you'd like to know.
I haven't bothered to buy it yet because I haven't gotten a card so far... but when I do, I'll be happy to help you out.

I bought one using my roommates' RID (since I was "underage" 18 in US wtf, you have to be 19) And used his credit card and payed him cash. From what I saw him do you have to buy it online using this special program thing... it's really complicated. I e-mailed blizzard about it, and they told me to buy it at an E-Mart or Lotte World. T.T
Good luck~
Oh, you will likely place in gold or lower no matter your league~

It's hard to place high, but if your skill level is higher, you'll get promoted with relative ease.
