We got back to work a few hours before the start of broadcast, tested everything and were all set to go. A few seconds before our countdown timer ended, with everyone ready to go, we all lost connection to the internet. After a couple hours of trying different solutions and being on the phone with a lot of different people, we learned that a vehicle had hit a pole a few miles away and cut the Comcast fiber line. We were able to rig up a setup that involved an old non-fiber line and a backup satellite to get the streams and internet back up again. Special thanks to Blizzard for being able to quickly whitelist our new IPs. After a few hours, the latency kept steadily increasing to the point of unplayability. To keep the integrity of the tournament I had to make the call to shut down the event until Comcast kicks back in. We hope to be back up and running shortly, but all I have is a vague estimated time. We apologize to the community for these issues and thank everyone for your patience and understanding. As you might expect, the schedule for the next two days is subject to change but we do hope to provide everyone with some great content. Thank you. how come when these things happens to "first time event holders" it always comes off sounding like an excuse along the lines of "my dog ate my homework" ? | ||

Perhaps this is the catalyst that will finally make people understand his obsession with destructible rocks. Thanks for the continued updates!
