The flow of the games, 10 minutes after 1 series ends, next series is ready to be streamed. The 10 minutes in between is filled with watchable content, the IPL top-10's which are fun to me, because I havent had too much chance of following this seasons broadcasts. No other tournament has this, not even close. MLG is still 30 minutes in between games and seem inefficient, even with more streams, there is always downtime. I cannot say that I expected this at all - I must admit, that after the NASL-offline event for season 1, which was also their first event, I was kinda expecting alot of screwups.. Day 1 put that to shame, you guys have clearly done your homework on running an event. The internet outage today sucks though, I felt abit sorry for you because everything else seems so good.. That internet man.. I don't know if satelite trucks would have been able to make a difference, as that would only allow you to get the stream out, and not actually connect to battle.net? Anyways, I really hope you get it sorted for tomorrow - One word of feedback: Be faster with these statements.. I think alot of people raged abit because their source for updates was DJwheat's twitter

I can't find any topic explaining it and to me it doesn't make any sense why Blizzard would have to do anything so you could use SC2 with a certain IP. Caesars IP was blacklisted by Blizzard, don't really know why though, so they had a little delay yesterday for the time Blizzard whitelist them

Blizzard blacklists (aka blocks) any IP that fires off too many connections to battle.net. It's a way to prevent DDOS and other nonsense to the network. One unfortunate side-effect of this protection is that this often catches LAN tournaments that plays StarCraft 2 and other games on Bnet.

Love the POV player screens and all the extra content on the other streams. Great casters and even the downtime this morning was great with getting to watch the girls show us the setup and also the BW matches. Just an awesome event and I only wish it was on the west coast so I could have attended in person!

I believe there is a limit on connections to battlenet from a single ip. We ran into some problems when we had a TL meet up in Orlando a year ago because of this. We had to get behind proxies to be able to have our tourney.
