It can be whatever the conversation leads to. Trying to limit a thread to its title is as impossible as stopping gravity from crushing your argument Which is why when Live Report tournament threads devolve into balance arguments the mods put up notes congratulating posters for having steered the thread away from it's original purpose. Edit: Forgot to say that I think this could be what gives oGs a swift kick in the rear. The whole team seems to be under-performing lately.
theres a difference between saying. broodwar was more about x, but forgg was always known for his y, which is actually important in sc2, so for him sc2 vs bw, he will be better at sc2.
and then, LOL BROODWAR IS DEAD SO HE CHANGED OVER FOR MONEY LOL

There is a mistake in forgg's sc2 liquipedia "Joined Old Generations on March 2009"

i don't know who the guy is, but judging the crowd's reaction, must be a big name from BW. NICE

i believe he won't be such a big hit, thus ending the speculations that if actual bw pros switch over they will crush sc2.... this just isn't possible

ex-BW pros are crushing sc2 already. I can't believe you didn't know MC, MVP, Nestea, MKP, MMA, Fruitdealer, Bomber and others not named Moon and Lynx played BW for a living...

I doubt he iwll be succesful enough, but will be sooo interesting to see fOrGG at it. Wonder if Hero remembers him, they were both at Oz..

Well who knows... if he can get a few more bucks off the skills he spent so long developing then all power to him... And plus SC2 seems to be growing, especially foreign scene

Keep this thread on topic please. It's inevitable sc2 inherited the starcraft name, what do you expect us to compare red alert 3 ? Wouldn't it be more fair to compare Brood War's metagame at one year, versus SC2's metagame at one year. Especially considering SC2 is different enough that while it inherited the name, it definitely did not inherit the meta-game. Different units, different fundamental A.I. control, different maps, different players, different time. For better or worse, they will never be the same. No that wouldn't be fair. You have to compare it in different periods. For example how was sc2 when it was mainly 1 base play compared to the same period in sc bw. I would say if the development cycle of bw we would be in like what? 2005? The period where macro really starts to become the best option above the rest. and that's not what metagame means. metagame Metagame can also mean the tactics and strategies players use at the highest level at a particular point in the game's life. You can google "current metagame" for some examples.

He is playing SC2 a long time now. He played against HuK some month ago, so another "not good enogh anymore for BW" Pro.
