WARNING! LARGE ASS WALL OF TEXT!!!!!!!!
A little about me:
[spoiler I'm probably the 3rd shyest guy you will ever meet, and a bit less of a stereotypical asian that you think, i do act a bit more white than my asian friends, and its funny how I can still beat every freaking single person in whatever game they play (and i'm pretty bad at them too, jesus christ I dont get how FOBs from china can't play DotA for their fucking lives LOOLOLOLOL TROLOLOLOLOLOLOLO, SC2 they are just bad even though i'm just diamond ROFL!). Okay, back to the point. I'm not really the person to take the initiative, but after about two years in leadership programs and having to actually teach and lead little kids (around 5th grade), I started to gain confidence in whatever I did, how I acted, and how I interacted with new people. I'm pretty much what you think of the average student (maybe give or take... 3.17GPA that ain't that good), nothing too smart, but everybody always thought of me as some kind of genius, which I am not. I'm not the kind of guy who likes to hurt people in anyway, whether it be physically or mentally, I just feel really guilty if I accidentally make somebody sad or mad (but i don't give a shit in vid games. NO MERCCYYY!).[/spoiler]
So, last year was my first year at high school, and I barely knew anybody who came from my middle school (they all went to some other high school), and I pretty had to find a bunch of friends again. It was pretty awkward trying to talk to people for the first few weeks, but I finally found a group of fellow Starcrafters like myself to hang out and play with. So anyways, I met the girl that I like in Biology, she was always nice and helpful to everybody, but I didn't have a crush on her or anything like that, she was more of the kind of friend that you only talked to if you needed help for homework.I'm just gonna call her Jessica because that's the first name that I could think of :D.
Now, fast forward a year, and its the beginning of the school year. She's now in my PE class (I actually don't really need to take the class for a semester, really don't know why I'm taking the class now :0) and we just start talking to each other a lot. I found that we had a lot in common, that we always laughed at the same stuff (if theres one girl who you can talk to hours about reddit+ragecomics+relatives about, its her). After a while, we just connected, and we just started to hang out more with each other. I started to get attracted to her, and I mingled around with the thought of having a girlfriend. I thought that it would be.... something new I guess, I mean every crush on a girl I ever had on was a girl that I usually wouldn't talk with or barely interact with, so this was kinda new to me. I asked some friends (who have had girlfriends before) how I felt about the girl should I do, etc. etc. and they just said "go and try to ask her out. If she says no, then its the end of the line, the world goes on for you. If she says yes, then, well you're in luck". I held the thought in my mind but never really thought of it.
Then, this week, I decided to take the bull by the horns. After treating her to ice cream and stuff like that, yesterday I decided to give her the big question: "So, do you want to go out sometime next week?". She just looks at me kinda surprised and said "I'll, ask my parents and see if I can go out sometime". At first I thought, wait, what? Really? you need to ask your parents to go out? whatever, we'll see what happens :D. After that, I just was like YESSSS!!!!!!!!! well kinda yes. Then, she started to act a bit.. well I guess all i can say is weird.
Later in the day, one of her friends came over and was like "I knew it! I just knew it! you guys always look so happy together, I always knew that you were going to date each other!".
So, on Thursdays we have days called Block days where we only have 3 classes a day but they are twice as long, and I asked her in the middle of class. After that, she just... avoids me for the rest of the day. today too. The same friend that told me that she and me would look cute together as a couple came up to me and told me that Jessica was kinda shocked. I don't know what the hell that means, but then her friend just tells me to just wait it out and that I had done everything that I could possibly do, and now its just up to Jessica to figure it all out. So, Thursday night I find out some bad news on Jessica's side, her grandfather was in pretty bad condition and was in the hospital. At that point, I just thought [wow, I asked at the worst time possible, my fucking luck is not too good.... =.=. I just consult some friends, and they are just like "be patient, just give her some time to figure it all out, you need to give her space." Later, one of her/my (who is one of the most awkward kids I have ever met, still friend with him :D he's cool, but depressing to talk to..) friend walks over me and says
+ Show Spoiler +
Him:Hey dude! How many of "my name"s are there that you know of in
Me:Umm.. one
Him: Well how many Jessica(s) are there in 2nd period?
Me: *gets a bit pissed at him running around in circles and not getting to the point * yes I DID ask her out... kay?

Now, today she does the same thing, she just avoids me 0.0. I just ask her friend and i say," did I do anything wrong?" She just told me that she just doesn't know what to do, that she's asking some of her friends too for advice, she is having family matters (well I already knew about it) and she needs a bit more time. Then, during lunch one of my friends who hangs out with Jessica a lot just calls in and was like "hey whats happening between you and Jessica? Why is she always talking about you to Laura(one of her friends)?". I just said that I would tell him about it later, because I felt that it would be kinda awkward if I told HIM out of all people. Later, the awkward dude comes along and just talks to me about it, saying that she just seems freaked out on the whole situation, and she was asking Laura about it, and also asked a pretty good question, if I was going to take her out to homecoming dance. I really haven't thought of it, but I guess that would be coming on too strong (that's in two weeks...). I ask my friends again about the whole situation, and they tell me that I should just go along, let her chill, don't be too clingy to her but don't be too far away from her.
