Maybe with the giant letters GSL in the middle and lonely little zealot in a far corner. http://www.teamliquid.net/blogs/viewblog.php?topic_id=267453

How about we protoss players just play the game!

i really think protosses should find their encouragement in immortals. these guys always scared me like hell (because i love thors and tanks more than anything else =)). but seriously, immortals had only 2 major disadvanages, they were hard to mass and they had short range. seriously, these guys kill everything on the ground supplywise (and i include marines, zerglings and zealots!) now with longer range and eventually warp prism support (this micro would be sick!), immortals could probably contest colossi. i mean guardian shield, forcefields, and guys that refuse to die and 2-3 shot everything your opponent has. is it not encouraging?

Immortals are going to have the same range as Stalkers. This is absolutely huge.

Oh yeah just saw how it worked well for **** vs **** he feeback see the terran army comming, go foward, feedback 2 ghost, they dont die, the protoss dosent even bother shift clicking his templar back to his army because he know its dead. Thats is So wrong, templar should not be like baneling with spells. im so sick of protoss getting destroyed by ghost, and now that terran actualy use snipe HT just get murdered because they have less range than emp and snipe.

Protoss QQing about balance reminds me of rich people QQing about minor tax raises. You've dominated for such a long time, now accept that you're getting cut short - and start rallying behind those trying new strategies, experimenting, innovating!
+ Show Spoiler +Fuck, just take a look at the Top 5 highest earning non-Koreans: Huk, [Sen], White-Ra, Socke, Naniwa. Protoss are taking all the money!

I don't know I've seen many games where HT won over ghosts. Depends on many things including particularly terrain/positionning and unit compositions, but IMO the ghost/HT duelling play can be very stimulating (I'm also terran lol...).
I would still put my hope on good old templars

Because they are the hero race Team Liquid deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So we'll hunt them because they can take it. Because they are not our heroes. They're a silent guardian, a watchful protector. A Dark Templar in our mineral lines!!!

Another protoss has fallen today, it's looking real bad. We need aid from our ancestors!

ROFL, Terran have been dominating since release.

52.4 against 50.4 is not exactly dominating. Cheer up guys :D
EDIT: Wait that's zerg at 50.4, sorry guys. Uh....... :D

I dont think all these win ratios can even be taken into consideration..
think of how many scrub protoss just cannon rush and fail or fake nexus attack and fail compared to the amount of actual macro player protoss
in my experience ive seen protoss palyers opt for the cheese over playing normal more than any other race
idk why people relate win ratios in GSL/tournaments to the race instead of the player behind it...

At this point in time I think even if they made protoss invincible they would still lose if the mentality/attitude doesn't change. Guys just have zero confidence so doesn't matter what gets patched if they don't regain that confidence.

Yeah, it's the mentality/attitude that is holding back Protosses! If only they weren't so pessimistic!
I hope proteams hire some Psychologists asap and then the wins will surely return.

How developed is the game really at this point, in one year..?
What if it were possible that Starcraft 2 developed into something even more engaging, through the millions of hours of thinking going into the game?
It is very very likely in my opinion that there will be certain levels of depth and mechanics that will be utterly mind blowing today, when every single possible game is closer to have been played (imagine if it were..) and certain systems of logic and physical stamina will undoubtedly be possible.
In recent cognitive studies, neurologist and psychologists say it takes roughly 10,000 hours for an individual to learn something at a (lol) masters, world class level..
It's possible that Starcraft's greatest player hasn't even played a single game right now.

this. Protoss should drink away their problems. You dont understand how good their drinks are. If a human had one they'd be catatonic for hours.
